Hi! My name is Rebecca Skevaki a Greek/Australian, travel and food and wine passionate. I got the travel bug at my first taste of traveling at just the age of 4 when my family sailed from Greece on a 42-day voyage to Australia. From then I have visited 46 countries and more than 240 cities. For me, "To travel is to live,” as said by Hans Christian Andersen.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"We specialize in the most beautiful country, Greece! Every traveler wants not only to learn about the culture and history but also to experience the delights of the local food, comfortable transportations, and other amenities to ensure a completely stress-free holiday and that's what we guarantee!
We love suggesting to all our travelers' unique experiences, going off the beaten path and interacting with locals through tours and activities where they use all of their senses. It doesn't mean forsaking seeing the highlights of the destination but doing it in a more "authentic" and responsible way."
How did you get involved in travel?
"My passion became my profession and after working for years in the public relations field and marketing, I founded Go Local Tours a company that ran tours in Australia before moving permanently to Greece my "Homeland" and creating GrecianLux, a company that helps travelers experience Greece like never before. For me, traveling isn't only admiring the views. To comprehend a destination, travelers have to forge deeper connections with the people, traditions, and customs of the place they visit and seek travel experiences that resonate on a deep emotional level."
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"One of my unforgettable experiences was while on a customized trip for an extended family where the father was visually impaired. I will never forget the tears in his eyes when he managed to understand how life used to be in Ancient Greece by incorporating a range of activities that stimulated each of the senses. "

Trip to Greece · Greece - Sep 16 - Sep 21, 2019
We typically are DIY travelers. For air, ground transport, hotels, and activities, I enjoy the planning process. Often, this is driven by the very specialized aviation activities I enjoy. Indeed, the first part of our trip was to Belgium for an airshow and photography activities. However, I was a little unsure of myself when it came to Greece so we decided to go with Kimkim. I was struck by the professional nature of the website.
We were then put in contact with Rebecca who did a great job... read more
