A beautiful hotel with a great view. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, but I was surprised at how small the dining room was, so that people had to wait. One morning we were directed to a dining room on another floor, which was fine. I was disappointed that the walking trail to the central city was closed and we had to walk the highway sidewalk. We used the shuttle service to and from central city a number of times and luckily, we learned to make reservations. It was very timely and worked well. We had been told it would go to different locations in the city if needed, but that was not correct. But we made it work without any issues.

Authenticity & Character
Beautiful lobby and rooms.
Location
It was a 40-minute walk to the central city. The shuttle service was valuable.
Staff
Very courteous and helpful.

Everything BUT the a/c was great. 3 nights with no a/c!

A/C in the room was broken. Attempt to fix was unsuccessful. We were offered a new room -/ a lesser quality room with no view. Frustrating to think a good resolution was a cheaper room with no offer for compensation. More importantly - why couldn’t they fix the a/c??

The Rees Hotel was exceptional. It's one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in, with an unbeatable view and surprisingly spacious rooms. The quality and comfort made it a perfect stay.

Beautiful views and the staff is awesome! We loved our room and the included breakfast was very good. The only drawback is having to take the shuttle to town. Many times it was full so we would have to wait another hour or just go ahead and walk. So the shuttle is great unless it is super busy, then everyone is trying to use it. Read more

We have been fortunate to travel a lot and stay at some amazing hotels. The Rees is now at the top of that list! The entire property is beautiful and impeccably maintained.
