Hello amigos,
I'm Alejandra, (better known as Espiritú Libre/ Free Spirit ). I am a jungle lover and passionate about water and extreme sports. I was born in CDMX and my origins are from Chiapas, my grandfather taught me the love and respect for nature. I love living in the jungle (as a jungle person, not thinking about luxuries and city comforts).
My mission in life is to preserve the ecosystems of my country by creating and developing sustainable, ecological and responsible tourism, informing tourists how to travel without impacting the ecosystems, teaching them the magic and subtlety of nature's creation.
I have extensive knowledge on how to plan adventure and immersion trips in nature, sports, cultural trips, and I am also fascinated by transporting travelers in time and marvel at how their psyche changes as they discover and become aware of things and situations that they did not notice initially. I like to learn the knowledge of ancestral peoples and rescue that wisdom for our current development.
In my work as a tour guide in Yucatan and Quintana Roo I learned a lot about natural and cultural biodiversity. I explored cenotes and archaeological sites, visited Mayan villages and even learned a little of the Mayan language. I carry Chiapas in my heart and consider it one of the most sacred places in the world.
In my travels around the world I have met people from all over the planet, I like to know different ways of life, and you, do you want to share with me a little bit of your culture?

How did you get involved in travel?
"Since I was a child, my father used to take us on holidays to different places and camping. My maternal grandfather showed me the wonders of Chiapas.
From a very young age I learned to speak English and Italian and it was always clear to me that I wanted to work in tourism, to plan trips for people and to develop in an environment where work was an activity that I myself enjoyed.
I studied Tourism Business Administration.
I started travelling the world on my own at a very young age, planning my own trips. I lived in Italy. I have visited many countries and I know Mexico very well where I have been a tourist guide, I have also worked in tourism promotion, hotels, travel agencies, tour operators and DMC's. I really enjoy my job!"
