I came to the Azores 24 years ago, so I am mostly an Azorean girl! After living here for these long, I believe in my heart, that this is the paradise, and I will never leave. I have worked in different tourism areas like hotels, travel agency and now in an Adventure Sea&Land activities company, so I think I could be of help. I live in an extraordinary and unique place, where you can feel the nature just by breathing, and from where you can take back home with you, memories of amazing and magic moments.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"AS i live in São Miguel island for so many years, i know now, the famous places to visit and explore, and what to do in each and unique areas of our small paradise! I also lived four years in Terceira island when i was a child and so i believe i can help planning your fantastic trip in this island also, as well as In Santa Maria island, our "sister" in the Oriental Group, where i have lived recently, for almost one year. I can help you with van and jeep tours, walking trails, mountain bike, canoeing, canyoning, also with sea activities like Whale watching, and swimming with dolphins."
How did you get involved in travel?
"It has been always a pleasure for me, knowing people from other countries, and so i have studied in tourism area, so that i could work in this field and help the world to get in touch with the most beautiful place in the world."
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"A few years ago, i have traveled with my mother to London City, and when at the London Bridge, we started to listen some people speaking Portuguese, when we looked closely, we recognized the people, they were a couple that lives in my city, Ponta Delgada, São Miguel Island, really close to my mother's house! We were amazed and so happy to meet our neighbors in one of the most busy places in the world!
That's the thing about travelling, we never know who we are going to meet, and sometimes we have the best surprises:) "
