Brahim Bourrich

My name is Brahim Bourrich. I live with my family in a local village 30 Km far from the main city Agadir. I grew up in a Moroccan Berber family, which offered an ideal environment to get in touch with the local culture and traditions that enrich my life and help me show my travelers why they should not miss the chance to visit my beautiful country.

Travel is a single word that hides a vast and unspoken reality among its 6 letters; since I joined tourism industry, I fell in love with my country more and more. Every single itinerary I design for my travelers, I discover something new. I am sure the same feeling of discovery awaits you in Morocco.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"I specialize in tours all over Morocco. I can help travelers plan trips focusing on:
* History & culture
* Trekking & adventure
* Beach & relaxation
* Sustainable Tourism
* And so on
I am always here for you and at your service. "

How did you get involved in travel?

"English was always my favorite subject in school. I loved to listen to native speakers talk, and I dreamed that one day I'd have the chance to speak likewise and directly to people who share the same passion for communication in general. One day, one of my teachers mentioned that a travel agency was looking for a new trainee with a degree in English studies. I took this opportunity to contact Orion Trek Voyages. Today, I am very happy and very proud that I joined this superb team because Mrs. Siham Douiou, our managing director, opened the door to us all and trusted us to reach this level. My position has enabled me to learn and travel a lot and has allowed me to share my passion for my country with travelers from around the world. I just love this job!"

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"To be honest, I have many travel experiences I will never forget, but so far, my favorite memory is of the night I spent in the middle of the dunes of the Erg Chebbi region riding a camel and watching the sunset. That evening I sat around the fire, listened to nomad music, and watched the stars all around us. Words can not describe the feeling I had, which is the reason I highly recommend you try it yourself! For the novice visitor to Morocco, kimkim Tours is absolutely the best choice. We lost time trying to get recommendations from friends of friends about what to do, where to stay, how to get there. So by the time I reached out to kimkim, we had a little more than a week to go before our vacation was to start.

From the moment our local specialist Brahim contacted me until we were delivered to the airport for our flight home, we had no worries. Brahim listened to what we wanted and tailored a package that exceeded our expectations. At the airport, our driver Yassine A. was waiting to take us to our hotel, but we didn't see him. A call to the kimkim after hours phone number got us hooked up, and convinced me that they are serious about resolving any issue, either real or perceived.

We chose the "Comfort" package. And were completely wowed by the kimkim selection for our lodging: Riad Norma. A short hike up the laneway leading to the Riad Norma was rewarded when our hostess, Monique Devaux, greeted us at the door. The Riad Norma is a stunning Moroccan mansion. Lovingly restored by Devaux over a three-year period, the riad felt more like a palace. Words fail me, so I'll let my photos speak for me.

We spent three perfect days in Morocco, one touring Medina Fez and days two and three exploring the ruins at Volubilis, meandering the famed blue laneways of Chefchaouen--aka "Blue City"--and people-watching in the square at Meknes. And at every turn, from our Fez tour guide Hafid B. -- a wedding singer -- to our private driver Yassine, to the gracious staff of Riad Norma and the hip boutique Riad The Petite Chefchaouen, kimkim had us covered. Even when my over-zealous explorer husband got lost in Chefchaouen, Brahim, my local contact, leapt into action, keeping me apprised of their progress and reassuring me that he would be found. , and he was, by our driver, Yassine.

I can't say enough for the professionalism of kimkim and their local partner, Orion Trek Voyages. The information packet was thorough and informative, even alerting us to local customs that would make our reception easier, such as guidance on dress codes. I wholeheartedly recommend their services, and will utilize them again on my next trip to Morocco.

Trip to morocco, Morocco - Apr 22 - Apr 30, 2019

Overall our trip to Morocco was an exciting trip. I believe that the one area that needs to be improved is the following. 1) agency staff should have one staff member who has visited the primary cities and understands how the city functions - e.g. the square in Marrakech does not have any food stall experience before night fall ... when i would speak to Brahim about places - the response ‘i’ve never been there” required me to research even more... 2) guides should have both prior... read more

I have booked private guide services in many cities and countries and the main guides provided by the agency were not professional.. they were not interested in their work or interested in showing us their city/country, this was not the case with the guides that i booked .... interesting to note that guide services that i booked directly for myself in Casablanca, Essaouria and Marrakech and the one i picked up last minute in Ait Ben Haddou and the one provided by our driver in Meknes were exceptional - the only guide service provided through the agency that provided exceptional guiding were Hafid in Fes and the camel guide and the sunset guide provided by Yasmina Palace in Merzouga
provided good guiding services. all things being relevant
a trip is made exceptional by two components - the driver and the guide services and both were lacking.
better accommodation for the same fee is available in Marakkech,
the Marakkech guide was the worst. he had knowledge but was neither interested in his city or in providing the guide services

most memorable place was FES and the desert experience and Chefchaouen - driver for Chefchaoun was very good

Hello Patricia,

Firstly, please allow me to thank you very much for taking the time to write and share your feedback and experience with me and my travelers. I have read it carefully and would like to share my comments with you and clarify some of the points you mentioned above:

1. Should I have deeper knowledge about each city and town of my country: YES, no one would deny that I should and that is my dream to achieve. But, as I have mentioned during our phone calls, I could not yet make it work and travel to every city because I have other obligations such as studies and family which prevent me from traveling all over Morocco yet. I am always honest with my travelers when they ask me about something I do not know, and I promise them to go and check it for them. The same I did for you. I know you did not like the location of the accommodation in Skoura, but, as you may recall, I never worked with this hotel you selected on your own via Booking.com and I did notify you of it clearly and you asked me to book it for you which left us with checking online feedbacks only and they were all good as you also read.

2. The Square in Marrakech: if you allow me to invite you to get back to the program and check the description; I have mentioned the following "In the evening the square transforms into a huge open-air restaurant with smoke rising from the many food stalls". This means that we only expect the square to have the stalls by the late evening. I never had any complaint from any of my travelers because it's an open space where people may decide to put their stalls starting from the evening time.

3. The local guide being registered: please allow me to confirm that all guides we work and supply to our travelers are registered and have been qualified by the local tourism office. Not sure on which basis you say that they are not registered? Of course, if any guide is not at his expected level of knowledge and professionalism, I would love to be informed because only through your feedbacks and my travelers' I am sure they are on top of their job. Also, I always recommend my travelers inform us through our 24h/7 emergency phone of an unpleasant experience they have during their travel the same as you also did regarding the guide services in Skoura which I immediately approved and refunded to your credit card because after checking and investigating I figured out that indeed the services of your guide were not as expected.

Last but not least, please allow me to say that I am surprised to hear from you that also your driver and all the guide services were not good. The only complained you sent me during your travel was about the guide in Skoura and only for 1 day which you asked me to refund. On my side with my local provider, we decided to refund you 3 days of the guide services as a gesture of good well and because we care about your trip services. Of course, I respect your feedback, but, I personally deserve to be informed while you are in the destination to have the right to intervene and check what's wrong. If I am not informed, I always assume everything is good order, especially that we were in contact via phone and WhatsApp the entire trip which is weird that you did not let me know.

I hope I have clarified some of the points above for you and also for my trusted travelers.

All the best,
Brahim

Our driver, tour guides, and accommodations in the Riads were all organized by Brahim. All we needed to book on our own was our flights.

Everyone involved, from our driver to the local tour guides knew exactly where to be and when to be there. Our driver, Yahya, was the most important part of our trip. He was available 24/7 and attentive to our needs. He was friendly, knowledgeable, punctual, and always made sure that we were safe. He also served as a translator from Arabic-to-English and French-to-English. Having a good driver in Morocco is invaluable!

Thanks again to Brahim, Yahya, and the KimKim team for making this the best vacation we've had so far!

A few things though for travellers to Marrakech. Be prepared people there are looking to take money from you. For us it started with the Global Currency Exchange in the airport. They insisted we need a prepaid credit card despite my many protests they would not relent as they said they had already done the transaction. The woman kept telling me over and over that I needed one and it was better than cash. Rip off. They charged me $30 Us to issue a $100 Us equivalent card and then most vendors there refused to accept it. Do not go to that currency exchange. It is the second one you see coming out of arrivals. In the Riad a random person showed up as we were off loading our bags from the baggage cart guy. He lifted two bags out of the cart. He then insisted I had to pay him $10 US for his services. In Tangier it was even worse as people followed you everywhere and were very aggressive.

Last thing do not go into a @Berner Home” for a visit unless you are planning to buy a carpet. This was one part of our trip I found very annoying. We were told we were going to see how the Barbers live. Instead it was a carpet warehouse and they pressure you like crazy to buy. And they are relentless and then get mad at you if you do not buy. I auggest in any excursions know exactly what you are getting into. Again we had the same experience in the so called “Spice Market” and Rose Water stop which which are both just high pressured tourist traps. Same thing again in Tangier’s.

All in all the country is beautiful and the people friendly and I get it that people are trying to live by selling but your operators need to be more honest. They get kick backs on all of this stuff and I feel I wasted a lot of my vacation time being pressured to buy stuff I had not interest in.

If I was on my own I would for sure feel overwhelmed by all of the sights and activity options. Using KimKim made it accessible and fun. What a fabulous time!

Our highlight was definitely the sunset camel ride and overnight stay in the Sahara. The Dades Valley And Todra Gorge is stunning landscape. The Roman ruins in Volubilis were a must see for me, the mosaics and setting are amazing. Ait Benhaddou and Fez were culturally a must do and I loved having an organised guide in Fez with a personality. The changing landscape in Morocco is amazing and made the car travel not an issue. Our family has done extensive traveling and we always felt safe in Morocco while excercising a normal level of caution that you do anywhere in the world. Our driver Mohammed was always prompt and protective of our security. 🇲🇦🌍🐪

We all travel a lot and had high expectations for this experience and they were fulfilled. We travelled for 7 days from Casablanca, to Chefchaouen, to Fes and ended in Marrakesh. Our driver was with us the entire time. Tarik was an excellent driver and made fantastic suggestions for local meals and sites to see. He was available 24/7 and helped us with every question. The accommodation Brahim booked was fantastic, and just what we wanted. We had two tours, one in Chefchaouen and the other in Fes; both our guides where friendly, knowledgable and gave us an appropriate amount of information. The car Tarik drove was comfortable, spacious and great for 4 people with luggage.
Overall I am very impressed with Kimkim and the service they provided. I recommend them highly.
Thanks for making my trip to Morocco a fabulous, stress-free, easy and memorable time.

The people that run it are very friendly; however it was just way too noisy, the room had a very strange odor to it and the bathroom could use some work. It felt more like a Hostel than it did a Hotel. They never even came to clean our room. We also had a misunderstanding with a tour guide at that hotel which caused a bit of chaos on our first morning which wasn't pleasant. But other than that everything was excellent. The most memorable part of the trip was the camel ride out to the Sahara! What an extraordinary experience. I also loved Rabat - very nice city. Marrakesh is a bit crazy but fun. There is a lot of driving involved but it flew by because the countryside is just beautiful. I would recommend Brahim, Hya Hya and KimKim in a heartbeat. Thank you for everything.

The booking process was smooth and Brahim was very prompt in answering our messages given that we only started planning a month in advance. We spent seven days in Morocco, starting and ending in Marrakech, with a four day trip out to the dessert and back in the middle. He selected excellent accommodations for our family of four, and suggested two activities in Marrakech that we would recommend - a walking tour in the Medina (our guide Mohammed was very knowledgeable although soft spoken and sometimes hard to understand) and an excellent Moroccan cooking class through the Riad dar Attamjil. Yassim and Zachariah at Dar El Masa in Marrakech were very helpful and welcoming. They kept us on schedule by communicating with our tour providers and giving us advice and directions on how to experience the medina, souks, and parts beyond. Breakfasts were lovely, rooms were comfortable and quiet. Our guide/driver Mohammed was exceptional. His English was very good and he struck a great balance between educating us about Morocco and allowing for downtime. He really made this part of our trip the best it could be. Comfortable, clean van with wifi and plenty of water. Our teenaged children loved the camel rides to/from the desert, it was a highlight for them. La Perle du Dades was a beautiful kasbah near Boumalne Dades, very family friendly with games, a lovely pool and courtyard and fantastic dining. Kasbah Titrit near Ait Benhaddou was also top notch with spectacular rooms, excellent food and service. In every place we met with friendly people, full of pride in their country and incredibly warm and welcoming.
We would recommend KimKim's services to anyone traveling to Morocco - we would never have been able to relax and enjoy our trip this much had we tried to plan it on our own.

Our overall experience planning and booking our Moroccan tour with kimkim was very positive, especially because of the efficiency, professionalism and very timely responses from our local specialist, Brahim. While planning the trip, Brahim was very attentive to my special requests and responded to my questions often within minutes. While on the trip, I emailed him twice and on both occasions he responded back promptly with the information I had requested. On our last night, he even called the Dar where we were staying and spoke to me to check if everything was OK.
Regarding our experiences during the tour, our English-speaking driver Mohammed was very professional and friendly. The car was clean and comfortable and he provided fresh bottled water. He pointed out interesting landmarks on the way and shared historical information. Our assigned guide in Fes was substituted by Said, who was very knowledgeable and informative.
A couple of tips/suggestions for improvement:
1. The rest rooms in the rest areas where we stopped were not equipped with adequate facilities and the only time I had no option but to use one, it was “horrific”. I suggest the driver chooses only those test stops that have proper facilities or that people are warned in advance so they know what to expect.
2. As a Muslim, I was really hoping to pray in some of the famous mosques but unfortunately the mosques are open only during the short time of the congregational prayers and shut at other times. This was personally disappointing and I would not have had raised expectations if I knew this in advance. Similarly, one of my priorities was to visit the library in Fes university, the oldest university in the world, and look at ancient manuscripts of the Holy Koran. Sadly, we were informed that visitors are not allowed inside and could only stand by the closed gates. I know this is outside the scope of tour organizers but prior information would be helpful in managing one’s expectations.

We had a fantastic time in Morocco and were so happy we chose Kim Kim to help plan the trip. The driver provided, Racheed was extremely attentive, and very good with my two kids who accompanied me on the trip. He made sure we were taken care of and kept us safe throughout the entire trip. I had a birthday during the trip, and without my knowing, he arranged for a cake during one of our hotel stays and provided our party with a couple bottles of wine to help celebrate. Completely unexpected but very much appreciated.
We had our first flight to Casablanca cancel, and Brahim and his team were flexible enough to ensure that we didn't lose very much of our trip while we lost a day of our itinerary. They worked hard to ensure we were caught up as quickly as possible with our original itinerary.
There was a small misunderstanding on our desires during one of our days. Once the issue was brought to Racheed and Brahim's attention, they were apologetic and worked to make things right the following day, including buying our group of 8 lunch to make up for the mixup.
The Roads and hotels booked by Brahim and his team were top notch. Every night when we checked in to our accommodations, we couldn't believe our eyes on how nice, clean, and unique each property was. The desert camp near Merzouga was definitely a highlight.
When planning the trip, I was wary that Kim Kim would be price competitive. In fact, they rate offered was lower than I could have done on my own, with more features and the benefit of inside knowledge on the best places to stay throughout our trip.
Bravo to Racheed and Brahim and their team.

He was willing to work with my sort-of complicated schedule. I’m very impressed at how fast he would get back with me, something that I require when dealing with a travel agent.

My driver, Said, met us at the airport and drove us for six days. I was happy to have him around. Although his English wasn’t completely fluent he still understood my basic needs and was there to make us comfortable.

The riads Brahim chose for me (as I only requested 4-5 stars) were wonderful! My favorite was in Fes, the Riad Karawan. If I have to go back, I’d definitely go there again. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a hotel in Casablanca at the Sofitel. It was in a great location and the rooms were exquisite. There was just a minor misunderstanding, giving us only one bed (I traveled with my son), when Brahim assured we would get two beds. I explained this to the hotel reception and they kept insisting that it wasn’t pointed out by my travel agent, and that they were full so they can send me a cot. I said no, I’m not sleeping in a cot when I paid for two beds. They eventually gave in and got us a room with two beds.

My only complaints in my trip is that I think I paid a ton of money for only six days. Although we stayed in nice riads, I would suggest that with the price I paid, it should include the entrances for every point of interest we went to. It’s not much but it gets really annoying that I have to pay on top of it then give a tip to the guide. Also, in some places that didn’t require a guide such a volubilis, I had to pay 200 dirhams for one. But this is ok it’s not my biggest problem. My biggest problem is when I’m being brought to a coop and have to waste my time in things I wasn’t interested in. In Fes we went to a ceramic place and was duped into buying a tagine that cost me $260, an outrageous amount even here in the states. I honestly think I should have the freedom to choose to go (or not) to places (especially where they are forcing me into buying things I don’t really need and the problem with that is you’re thinking you’re in Morocco so why not get a tagine or whatever they are selling). This things shouldn’t be part of the tour since I’m not in a big bus with 50 other tourists.

One more thing, if you could tell the guides to ask beforehand where I would like to have lunch because there was definitely a restaurant in Fes I wanted to go to but instead was forced to go to a mediocre restaurant with full of tourists and food was seriously lacking in taste. I’m only in Morocco once and I want the best experience and eat the best foods. Anyway these are only suggestions and hopefully you can rethink of applying it in your future tours.

Speaking of guides, I was happy with Said in Fes. His English was so fluent it felt like home to me. Other than the restaurant he chose for us to go 😂, he was an excellent guide! The one guide in Marrakech (an old gentleman) was okay. His English was good enough to understand but he wasn’t very personable but that’s maybe because he was old. Lol!

Overall, I had the best time in Morocco. The people are friendly (even if I was getting duped by peddlers lol). I really enjoyed working with Brahim and will definitely choose Said again for my driver. You will have to give me a discount next time I go back since I’m a returning customer lol!

We took a camel ride into the desert (about one hour) and slept in a rather luxurious “tent” in Merzouga which was quite fun. If we had more time, I would spend it in Chefchaouen and Fez and spend some time on the coast. All in all, we had a terrific time and saw more of Morocco than we could have on our own in the amount of time we were there. We learned a lot about the country’s history and the many cultures that have become part of it over the years. The vendors in the souks were eager to sell their wares but were not really aggressive about it and we felt very safe throughout the trip. Thank you Brahim and Mohammed for a great time.

He had always provided timely, courteous responses to my questions and helped me every step of the planning process. We reached Marrakech later than scheduled due to flight delays. I had failed to inform Brahim of the delay. Brahim exhausted every resource available to him trying to make sure we were ok/ safe. He even checked in with us during the trip to make sure we were having a great time.

Our driver Amine was awesome. He was pleasant, safe and very punctual (we were the ones who made him wait :)). He tried to keep us informed in advance about the places we were visiting/ stops en route. It took him a couple of days to warm up to us, but when he did he was a lot of fun. We spent one evening playing cards after dinner, my daughter had a great time learning card tricks/ games from him and teaching him card games. He was very accommodating and stopped any time we requested a stop. He appeared to be quite knowledgeable of the places we visited and took us to some fantastic restaurants for authentic Moroccan lunch. He took us to places (women’s co-operatives and workshops) where we learnt in length about the fossils, argan, rose and carpets. The vendor at the rose products shop was very friendly, not only did he sell us some good quality rose products, but he also taught me how to make tajine and gifted me a bag of spices that he had bought to make his own meal. That was so very generous of him and his tajine smelled so good :)

The arrangements exceeded my expectations most of time. The arrangement at the bivouac in the Sahara desert deserves a special mention. The tent was very comfortable with washroom and shower facilities. Our camel man Sayeed deserves a special thanks for making our experience a memorable one. The food was plenty and the entertainment was fantastic. He helped me up and down the massive dunes and even gave us company while we were star gazing in the dark trying to explain the stars and life in the desert. The Riads were clean and comfortable. The hosts/ riad staff were very friendly and welcoming. Dinner served at the Riads (Dar Sofar, Hotel Amazir and Makhtoub in Ait Ben Haddou) were fresh, delicious and plenty, often too much for us to finish. Moroccan breakfasts are different from what we are used to in North America, but the freshly squeezed orange juice made a huge difference, delicious 

The only thing I would like to mention is that some Riads charge you for bottled water, but they don’t tell you that until when it is time to leave. This I thought was a little inconvenient especially since I had bottled water in the car, and I ended up paying almost 3-4 times the cost unnecessarily. Also, I had exchanged only limited $$ for each day and this resulted in my budget being messed up for tips, etc. Perhaps it would be a good practice to let the guests know in advance that there is a cost for the bottled water, so the guests can make an informed choice.

All in all it was a fantastic experience, I would recommend Brahim and his team in a heartbeat. You can trust them for your travel needs. Thank you Brahim and team!

Amine our driver was good and very safe as an added bonus he new the local areas quite well, thanks to him we enjoyed late night street food in Fes and other foods that we may not have had the opportunity to try. Amine, was very accommodating and he was willingly available for us at night when there were things we wanted to do like going to Rick’s Cafe. It was quite enjoyable having someone that could take us to local spots to watch football (he’s a Barca fan fair warning to Madrid fans). With Amine it was like having another member of the family with us, we were very comfortable, and all three of us would highly recommend his services. He was very pleasant and enjoyable to be with. On a side note Amine really went the extra mile when my mother left her jacket in our hotel in Casablanca, he arranged to have picked up and delivered to her in Marrakesh. We really appreciated everything Amine did for us.

The tour guides we had were all very good and very knowledgeable. In Fes we had Saïd and in Marrakesh we had Mohammad. Overall we had a fantastic and safe time in Morocco.

Personally, I do agree with you that the Agafay stone desert is one of the best highlights in Morocco especially for travelers who have a short time and want still to enjoy the feeling of being in a desert area spending the night in the comfortable tents and also ride their camel :)

Just make sure you plan your next trip and I'll always be here to help and assist!

All the best,
Brahim

Our driver Rachid Chaif was excellent. He had a lot of information to share about the culture, history and places. When in need, he loaned us with local currency! Yeah, thats right! He was awesome. We shared a lot of good songs on the road trips. He was very kind and took a lot of pictures of us and shared it through WhatsApp. He even gifted me with a tagine! Big thanks to the team for taking such good care of us. The guide in Fes, Hafid was excellent. He was a tower of knowledge and too us through the Souks and made us feel safe. He had a lot of good advice and suggestions, which is really appreciated.
On the whole it was an excellent trip and I look forward to working with Kimkim again.

My father and I spent 11 days traveling around Morocco with kimkim and had an absolutely incredible time. Right from the start, our local specialist, Brahim, was attentive to our questions and priorities, responsive and very patient as we put together our itinerary. Our trip was planned last minute-- we only had about 3 weeks between the time we contacted kimkim to when we landed in Casablanca, and kimkim was able to cater to our spontaneity, customizing the perfect trip for us. Brahim checked in with us several times throughout our trip to make sure things were going well and we always felt looked after.

Our driver, Amine, was polite, always on time, and flexible if we wanted to change plans or linger in one place. It wasn't long before he felt like a trusted friend. Most importantly-- he was a VERY safe driver-- particularly in Marrakech we were impressed with his driving skills, where the roads are chaotic. Getting to know Amine was one of the highlights of our trip.

Our tour guide in Fes, Hafid, blew us away. He was knowledgeable, charming, and spoke English very well. He was also very flexible with how long the tour lasted-- we didn't feel rushed and he kept asking if there were other things we'd like to see. We couldn't have enjoyed the Medina nearly as much without his local insight.

We chose 3* accommodations and found them perfectly adequate for a father/daughter duo. Always central to wherever we were staying, sparkling clean, with friendly staff and a delicious, fresh breakfast. The riads in Rabat (Dar Alia) and Fes (Perle de la Medina) were breath taking.

It's difficult to pick a most memorable place-- but I think I enjoyed Fes the most. We stumbled upon Cafe Clock; we actually went there twice for dinner because we enjoyed the vibe so much.

Speaking of restaurants-- the only negative about the overall experience I can think of was the surprising lack of diversity in cuisine. It seemed like almost everywhere we were taken to, tagine was the main offering, and after the first 1-2 times of tagine I craved something different, but did not find much variation. We didn't often pick where we ate for lunch (and we would have no resources to know where to go anyway), so I don't if it's just the way moroccan food is, or if it was because of the specific places we were taken to. So unless you know you love tagine, try to make sure your meals have some variation, even if that means eating non-Moroccan food at times. I think we liked cafe clock so much (we went 4 times! 2x in Fes and 2x in Marrakech) because their menu had interesting things to offer besides tagine, and you could tell it had a youthful, cultural community vibe.

Overall a 10/10 for kimkim and all our guides and the people who made our trip unforgettable! Thank you so much!

Brahim was very good in working with us to find the best trip. Our driver Amine, was always on time and talked to us about his country.
In the end we felt like family. He even invited both myself and my daughter to his home to have dinner. It was quite the experience.

We travelled to 8 cities in 18 days. Mohammed was always close by and always offered his services in the evening if we needed him. The local guides in each city were very good and I highly recommend you do them to get the lay of the land and go to special places you otherwise may not have seen. The riads we stayed in were really nice. Our favourites were Casa Lila in Essaouira, Riad La Clé De Fès in Fes, La Petite Chefchaouen, and our favourite Riad Kalaa 2 in Rabat. The Sahara dessert camel ride and overnight through Hotel Yasmina in Merzouga was excellent. Our cooking class in Marrakech was so much fun. The people in Morocco are very friendly, kind, and always helpful. We ate in some fantastic restaurants and the experience in Marrackech's central square was crazy fun and very memorable. Our home is now adhorned by wool carpets, ceramics, jewellery and hand made wooden items. All in all our trip was fantastic and highly recommend Brahim and his team to provide you with an unforgettable trip to Morocco!

He arranged wonderful accommodation in each place we stayed (especially Riad Villa el Arsa in Marrakech medina and Chez Talout in Skoura) and provided us with the best driver (Rashid from EMS - Essaouira Multiservice) who was so much more than a driver. He had completed a degree in tourism and made the 4 day trip out to Erg Chebbi and back such a memorable experience. He went out of his way to show us sites not on our itinerary, took many photos of our group and sent them to us and ensured we were all safe and well cared for whilst travelling and at each stop. Travelling with my grown up children and parents could have been a challenge but Rashid was continually happy, polite and accommodating. It felt as if he was part of the family and it was a sad farewell on return to Marrakech. A truly fantastic holiday, thanks so much to all involved. A very memorable experience. Would highly recommend all mentioned to ensure a wonderful holiday. Michele and John Gambrill (John & Robyn Gambrill, Jade Gambrill & Antony Dickenson)

Our trip to Morocco was absolutely one of the best experiences in our life! It took several tries to create the right itinerary for us as we had specific timelines and locations, but Brahim was very helpful in coordinating the agenda and is very knowledgeable on the best routes. We went Marrakech, Ourzazate, Erg Chebbi, Fez, Chefchouen, and Casablanca, and I would recommend to not miss any one of these cities because they each entrance you like no other. Along with many others we made stops at on the way, like the Berber Kasbah and the Todra Gordes. These are sights you cannot find anywhere else!
Our Driver Mohammed was fantastic. He spoke great English, was reliable, gave us good recommendations, shared the history about all the places we came across and ensured we felt safe at all times. We really liked our City guides in Marrakech and Fez. They were extremely knowledgeable about the rich history and present culture, helped us navigate through the city so well that the 6-8 hours we had felt like 2, and they led us to experience true life like the locals. They really listened to any of our requests and made it all happen. Our favorite was definitely the Erg Chebbi experience. The people there are so kind and so great! And knowing it was my birthday trip, Brahim and the team really made it an even better experience. I would absolutely request all these people again.
With that said, with the cost of the trip, although in good locations I thought the hotels in most locations could have been a lot better. We booked our own hotel in Marrakech and that was by far the best one we had. The ones booked by the agency were probably 2.5 stars, but service in each was very good. We barely stayed there, so it wasn’t terrible, but I would expect better knowing the conversion rate.
The other things we weren’t too fond of is the stops we would make that were represented as an experience, but really we were being coerced to buy things- Rugs, Leather, Art. Some folks might enjoy this, and we did enjoy some of the places for sure, but ended up spending way too much time on these.
Lastly, we changed our flight arrangements to leave out of Casablanca so we can visit Rick’s Café, but only found out there that they open in the evening, and our itinerary had us there only during the day, so we really never saw the city after making the changes, and that was a bit disappointing.
For food, we were taken to some nice restaurants, and made our own reservations in Marrakech but mainly followed our guides advice, and were not disappointed. But you have to be prepared to eat whatever is around at the time, or I would suggest to always get something for the road.
All in all, a great experience with everyone we met along the way! The service and hospitality is 5-stars!

Also, it has been a great honor for me to be your local travel specialist taking care of your wishes in order to make this trip a lifetime experience for you full of joy, fun, and happiness especially that it is arranged for your birthday. So, please note that I have well noted all your helpful comments and I will share your feedback with my driver Mohamed and I am sure he will be very happy to receive it, the same for any provider of mine that helped to achieve this dream!

Regarding the accommodations I have arranged for you, they are 3* accommodations according to local standards. They are loved by my travelers, but for sure the accommodation you booked on your own is not similar to them because it's a 5* Riad that I also use for travelers who prefer to upgrade their stays and live the Moroccan luxury touch.

Generally and as you said, the service and hospitality of the local people are 5-stars! I am here always for you, your friends, your family, and for sure for all my travelers to keep inspiring everyone to love my destination and my country Morocco!

Last but not least, I want to take this opportunity to wish you and your Family, the very best. May 2019 be a year filled with laughter, health, adventures, and success for you, your family, your colleagues, and your friends.

He made sure that all of the hotels would be good for my retired parents as well as for me. Getting picked up from the airport and to our first Riad was very easy. I’m glad we had a guide because navigating Moroccan Medina’s can be tricky. Overall the trip logistics went very smoothly and it was so nice not having to worry or stress over things. When we did have a few small mishaps, Brahim immediately contacted me to rectify the situation. Really amazing customer service.

I was SUPER impressed by our driver Mohammed as well. He was kind, patient, and flexible. He also was a very safe driver, who followed the speed limit, used caution on difficult roads, and kept us safe from some crazy cars on the road. My parents fell in love with him and have even invited him to come visit them in California.

I also really enjoyed our private Fes tour guide Hafid. Not only was he hilarious and entertaining but he had a deep k owl edge of the town’s history.

In terms of memorable cities, I think Chefchouen and the Fes Medina are a tie. Both so unique- like nothing I’ve experienced before. But really, every city we visited was beautiful. The mosaics, fountains, and ever changing landscapes were awesome. I was surprised too by how many small towns and villages we crossed along the way. Stopping for lunch or to explore them as we drove between major cities was one of my favorite things about the trip.

Hello Ben,

Thank you very much for your feedback which is deeply appreciated and helps me and my future travelers to read and learn from your own travel experience. I am very happy to hear you have enjoyed your trip and my local providers' services. I have sent you a check-in email in our conversation during your travel to follow up on your trip and if there is anything I can do for you but did not hear back from you which may be due to the network or you were not checking your emails.

Just after receiving your feedback, I noted your satisfaction remark and immediately called my local driver Rachid to review all the trip and what was wrong, I understood from him that you have decided last minute to skip the bird-watching activity on your way to Asilah, and it was your own decision as far as everything was arranged and ready for you. Rachid proposed to enjoy another road and make some stops for you which I believe went very well as you mentioned above. Also, I have been informed that you have decided to skip the local restaurant in Chefchaouen you selected on your own due to its location. Also, the restaurant in Rabat you selected was far more than you expected and you were not happy. Now, I understand the reason why you were not very satisfied; I wished I could help with these arrangements as well, but you have decided to book them on your own and I respect that. Normally my drivers know a lot and it would have been better to check with them for any local restaurants or services you wish to enjoy then you can decide to take their recommendation or keep your own selection.

I 'll always be here for you the soon new plans for Morocco are ready.

All the best,
Brahim

Kind hearted people with much integrity. The guide we had in Marakesh--- Kahil was so knowledgable and helpful. Very kind man and full of so much knowledge and history. Rachid --our guide on our five day adventure into the Atlas Mountains and southern Morocco -- he was like family to us on. We had such fun and extraordinary experiences. Rachid is also an excellent photographer (a good eye) and he took and shared many photos he had taken of us during our time together. We learned much about the Berber people. He took us to several Cooperatives so we could see first hand the work of the Moroccan people - in their small villages. We toured the Argon Oil Cooperate, Berber Carpet Cooperative, the Rose Water Cooperative, the Fossil Cooperative, the Tannery and Leather Cooperative, the Spice and Saffron Cooperative. ... and so on. We learned so much about the Medinas in the villages, and the Kasbahs. We learned of the history of the Berber people. Then of course our night in the Sahara Africa with the Camal Caravan oh my! We love dour night in the Sahara with the great food and singing and drumming by the fire under the stars. The entire trip had such amazing food. Came back with all sorts of Moroccan spices, so our home now smells of Morocco. We have used our Tagines every day since being back.

I can't say enough good things about our experience in Morocco. We love the Moroccan people. We love the smells, the colors, the Call to Prayer. We loved all of it.

We are so looking forward to coming back to Morocco. We will definitely work with the same tour company. Perhaps next year!

En Shallah.

I did a bunch of things with my boyfriend during our ten days in Morocco. We did have a few hiccups like the driver not picking us up in chefcheoun or the walking guide not arriving. However, the rest of the trip went smooth. The local private driver we had during our Sahara trip, Youssef, was amazing. He was super enthusiastic and great. My bf and I ended up hanging out with him in Marrakesh as well! Our walking guide in fez was great- he was super informative and enthusiastic. Our walking guide in Marrakesh was okay- he was a bit bland and his English was not as great- unfortunately he was pretty quiet for a lot of the time which was fine but I wish we had the same one from fez! One negative is that there’s a few “hidden” costs and people try to offer you things for free or in good faith but then ask for money- it’s annoying! For example, when we were in our riad in Marrakesh, we asked for coffee a few times thinking it was free. In the end they asked for money before I checked out- this should have been communicated beforehand since the states offer free things or are more upfront with costs. The riads we stayed at were good- we loved a lot of them especially the one in ourzazate. The one in Marrakesh didn’t have hot water so it was a bit hard to shower but other than that no issues. Overall- it was great having Brahim as a guide as he was alert and attentive. He was quick to respond and made the kimkim experience a positive one.

It was very helpful that you informed me directly and you shared your feedback with me while you are in Morocco, so thank you very much too, which helps me to adjust everything and also to offer you alternative choices to make your trip very memorable. Brahim was an excellent trip planner for us. We are retired univ profs in our 70s, fit and adventurous and well-traveled. My husband and I like to engage with our guides and discuss not only all we learned from them about Morocco, but also their lives and experiences. The Dar Baraka in Marrakesh was wonderful, esp the roof top where we had breakfast. I can't remember the name of our first guide in Marrakesh, who we enjoyed being with. He also taught French in secondary school, and as we were teachers (and my husband speaks French) we got along very well. Our guide for our tour in the desert and Ait Benhaddou was Rashid (from Essaouira) -- another great companion and good conversationalist. The driver was excellent, which we appreciated. Our guide Samir accompanied us to the Berber home stay, where we met the 80 year old pater familias and other family members. Wonderful! And our day in Tangier with Khalid was also memorable -- beautiful weather, interesting sights, good conversation. I'm so glad I found your website -- it was truly a great experience!

From the beginning, our agent Brahim was very attentive and responsive. Any question or concern we messaged him about, he would get back to us right away. Additionally, he really took our requests into consideration when customizing our tour of Morocco. A highlight for us was the blue city of Chefchaouen, but honestly, Morocco is a stunning country with amazing landscapes, architecture, and culture, so it was all a highlight.

Our private driver, Rachid, was very punctual, responsible, and attentive to our needs. He would arrive on time every day and before arriving at our accommodation, he would call ahead to make sure they were ready for us. He was also great about suggesting local places to eat and when we should stop because some of our days were quite long in the car given the nature of the particular tour we chose. He also took some really excellent photographs of us (he's into photography). He is a driver that I would recommend other travelers to request :)

Additionally, the accommodation that was selected for us was just what we wanted--not big hotels, but local Riads (traditional Moroccan houses). One of the riads, Riad Sabah in Marrakech, was a highlight because the owner, Hans (he is from Germany, but lives in Marrakech because his wife is Moroccan) was so friendly and helpful and really made our stay pleasant.

Lastly, the local guides we had (Hafid in Fès and Khalid in Marrakech) spoke excellent English and were very knowledgeable.

All in all, this was a very positive experience and most importantly, it was very stress free. We chose to give Kimkim a try because with our busy work schedules, we did not have the time to plan and do our own research, so we wanted someone that could make this as stress free for us as possible. It was great waking up every day with our driver at the ready letting us know what our itinerary was for the day, not having to worry about how we were going to get to the next place, and arriving with our accommodation ready. Each day, we just got to sit back and enjoy, which is exactly what we needed. Though it was a little more expensive than we would have liked, time and zero stress is a luxury you pay for :)

However, since we are a bit unfamiliar with how things are in Morocco, and the limited usage of English there, we decided to have a travel guide there. Planning for the trip was made easy with KimKim, as Brahim and the team came up with the itinerary and we all agreed to it, with some amendment. The driver Mohammed was really helpful through out the journey, and made us comfortable. However, the distance from where the car could drop us to the Riad was bit too far for my parents, who had bad knees. It was partly our mistake as we thought it was not that far to walk, but actually took us good 15 minutes. (It was alright for my friend and I but was too much for my parents).

We also had amazing experience staying at the Riad, good opportunity to feel how living in Moroccan house like.

Good job KimKim! Thank you for all the help.

Tailor-made, precise, seamless and absolute comfort. These are the attributes we generally look for when booking a trip or part of the trip through someone. When we started our discussions with Brahim, right from the get go , he was attentive, understanding and even compassionate when taking down our requests and needs. A beautiful country which it is, Morocco, an experience through kimkim makes it much more enriching and fulfilling.
