Brooke Christy

I grew up fascinated with geography and a passion for helping people. Experiencing cultures other than my own opened my eyes to how alike we all are. We truly are one world, a global village if you will. Learning about one another and taking care of each other is life changing. Tourism helps to bridge the gap between us. Travel forms connections and bonds, memories and experiences that positively impact us and last a lifetime.

How did you get involved in travel?

"A close friend of mine was working in the travel industry and knew I had a desire to travel and experience new things. After a brief conversation I was hooked! Over 15 years later, I'm even more passionate about meeting new people and learning about different cultures firsthand. The travel bug bit me hard!"

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"I've had so many amazing and unique travel experiences that it's difficult to choose just one! For example, who knew that a flight cancellation upon my return from Fiji would result in meeting some of the All Blacks, New Zealand's Rugby Team?!

Another unparalleled experience was when a good friend of mine was able to secure tickets to an Aussie Rules Football game at the MCG in Melbourne. After the game we visited a mutual friend at the Eureka Tower, the tallest building in Melbourne at the time!

Add in climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge, snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef and in Fiji, along with hot air ballooning in Cairns, QLD, listening to live music in St. Kilda, VIC, driving along the Great Ocean Road, zip lining and Kava ceremonies in Fiji, visiting Port Arthur, Mount Wellington, and the Cadbury Factory in Hobart, TAS, all of the amazing food, art, shopping, music, beer, wine, people, and cultures... An abundance of incredible memories... Traveling is a part of me. ;-)"
