Travelling has given me the opportunity to to meet new people, experience new cultures, and explore unfamiliar places. It has allowed me to become a more confident and well-rounded traveler.

Having come back to Jordan after two years, I am keen to share with other travelers the the rich culture and natural beauty this country has to offer. At Experience Jordan we try to provide opportunities that highlight the unlimited experiences available in Jordan.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"Experience Jordan specializes in adventure and experiential tours located in Jordan, Israel and Palestine. Additionally, we provide tours that offer hiking, biking, cultural experiences and historical tours, just to name a few.

We aim to be the best inbound tour operator in the region, offering you the perfect trip, tailored to your specific requirements at affordable prices, with excellent customer service.

With many of us, including myself, having traveled to the vast majority of sites throughout Jordan, we are positive in the fact that you will love our trips. With a diverse team of seasoned travelers, we work at adhering to best practices and responsible tourism.

As part of our commitment to the people of Jordan, we continue to pioneer new tours and experiences to create jobs and generate income for our local partners throughout the country. Experience Jordan works hard on improving the lives of those not only in Amman, but for people in the rural communities and Bedouin families across Jordan."

How did you get involved in travel?

"I have always had the desire to travel as many of my friends are from countries all over the world. Most of my travels have involved academics and visiting friends, which has allowed me to stay in countries for extended periods of time (a month or longer). The loner the trip the better!"

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"All trips have some sort of unique experience. However, I will share my most recent trip to Dahab, Egypt. I spent 6 days becoming PADI certified.

The pinnacle of the trip was my dive instructor, Omar. He happily trained my in 3 certifications, let me practice my limited Arabic on him, and gave the best food recommendations. I find that people always determine how you remember and feel about a trip."

Beyond Hotels: Unique Places to Stay in Jordan

There are plenty of typical hotels in Jordan, but this destination also offers a plethora of unique, experiential lodging options that you won’t find anywhere else. From local homestays with Jordanian families to a certified ecolodge on the edge of the Dana Biosphere, these incredible alternatives throughout the country will make you rethink your usual travel routine.

How Many Days Should You Spend in Jordan?

Jordan is a compact country, roughly the size of Ireland, with more than its fair share of must-see sites. Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea are all world-renowned attractions and are located within just a few hundred miles of each other. This, combined with the fact that Jordan’s roads are of excellent quality, means that it’s possible to see all of Jordan’s top spots in about 3 days. This doesn’t mean that we recommend spending 3 days only, since there is a lot more to see, and the top sites are worth spending more time at than just a quick visit.
