After working for more than five years in tourism in Asia, first in Sri Lanka and then in Indonesia, I took a major step and moved to South America. Hence my adventure continued in Chile, where I took over Terra Chile’s management in 2017. I truly believe that traveling with a local agency is key in sharing and understanding a country. "Having a whole salar for myself, North of Chile in the out of the beaten track part of the Atacama Desert. It was only my guide, our 4x4 and I in the Salar de Surire watching flamingos enjoying a hot bath in thermal water while a vicuñas family, some kind of wild and majestic llamas, where roaming about. "

This trip was exceptional. We were travelling for about 9 weeks throughout southern Chile and Argentina. Everything ran smoothly. Accommodation was delightful, guides were awesome, especially Inti in Puerto Varas, and Eduardo in Puerto Natales. I have no hesitation in recommending the team at Terra, especially Marie and Emily, they went way beyond what we expected. Our thanks go out to them for a hassle free trip.
