David Torres

Galapagos Naturalist Guide. Jungle Expert & Andean Explorer

As a traveler, I'm interested in finding the unusual and authentic experiences in each destination. I love to try new and strange foods, communicate with the locals even if I cannot speak their language and dive head first into the culture and sights of each destination I go to.

I work as a Guide in the Galapaogs islands, and as Marketing Manager for EcoAndes Travel, one of the best South American tour operators, and I will be glad to help you out plan your best trip to Ecuador, my Homeland!

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"Adventure Tourism through the Andes Mountains. I love indigenous communities, as well as the majestic stone and snow structures that cut my continent in half. There "Apus", or mountain gods really mean a lot to me, and my personal evolution. However I am also passionate about cultures, art, history and science.

Let me know how you want to travel to Ecuador, and with the help of EcoAndes we can make your dream a reality."

How did you get involved in travel?

"Hereditary Traveler Syndrome"

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"Spending 3 nights with the amazing Huaorani community of the deep Amazon Jungle, after 14 hours of grueling hike through the dense forest. "
