Diliana Theloesen
Born and raised in the Netherlands 🇳🇱, I’ve always been eager to explore new cultures and languages. As a child, I spent many summer holidays traveling with my parents to countries such as Italy, Austria, Greece, and Croatia.
After graduating from high school, I chose to pursue studies in tourism, completing both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the field 👩🎓. I earned my master’s degree in Sweden 🇸🇪 and also completed an exchange semester in Finland 🇫🇮 during my bachelor studies. In addition, I gained hands-on experience through a marketing internship at a luxury hotel brand in Malta 🇲🇹 and participated in fieldwork in Thailand 🇹🇭 and Cambodia 🇰🇭.
I truly believe that traveling broadens the mind. The more unfamiliar the experience, the more memorable and everlasting it will be ✨.
How did you get involved in travel?
"My first solo experience abroad was in Greece 🇬🇷 on the beautiful island of Kos 🏝️, where I worked for five months as a children’s entertainer for a luxury hotel brand. After that, I gained additional solo travel and work experience in Italy 🇮🇹 and Portugal 🇵🇹. I also spent nearly two months backpacking on my own in Brazil 🇧🇷."
