Born and raised in The Netherlands 🇳🇱 However, I was always eager to get to know new cultures and languages. As a child, I went on summer holidays with my parents to Italy, Austria, Greece, and Croatia. When I graduated from high school, I decided that I wanted to study tourism. I did both my bachelor and master degrees in Tourism 👩‍🎓. I did my master in Sweden 🇸🇪 and also did an exchange semester with my bachelor study in Finland 🇫🇮. In addition, I also did an internship in Malta 🇲🇹in the marketing department of a luxury hotel brand and also went to Thailand 🇹🇭/Cambodia 🇰🇭for fieldwork.

I truly believe that traveling broadens the mind. The more unfamiliar the experience, the more memorable and everlasting it will be ✨.

How did you get involved in travel?

"My first solo abroad experience was in Greece 🇬🇷on the beautiful island of Kos 🏝️, where I worked for 5 months as a children's entertainer for a luxury hotel brand. After that, I had more solo travel/work experiences in Italy 🇮🇹 and Portugal 🇵🇹. I also went backpacking by myself in Brazil 🇧🇷 for almost 2 months."

"I have a few memorable experiences abroad ✨, including swimming 🏊‍♀️in the Arctic Ocean in the far north of Norway at -20 degrees Celsius 🥶, watching the aurora borealis in Finland 🌌, and celebrating New Year's Eve at the beach of Copacabana 🎆 and also Carnaval in Río de Janeiro, Brazil 🎊."
