Harpa Mjöll Kjartansdóttir
Originally from small fisherman village called Þorlákshöfn, located about 1 hour from the KEF-airport.
In 2004 I first came to Hvolsvöllur and I instantly felt like I was home! This small town where everyone know everyone with the highlands and Icelandic nature just in the back yard.
At first I used every change I got to escape to Hvolsvöllur and then finally in 2011 me and my husband decided to buy our first house and move to Hvolsvöllur. I got so lucky to become part of the Midgard Adventure team and feel so lucky now being surrounded by family and friends everyday enjoying the beautiful nature!

I specialise in organising real adventure focusing on slow tourism.
We love to lead our guests off the beaten track and showing some hidden gems of nature among with meeting the locals.
