My mission is to build a tour that will make your visit a unique experience while meeting your expectations. Whether you are seeking a cultural trip where you can have genuine encounters with the local population, an adventurous one where you can trek or climb in the Cordillera Real, I will share our knowledge and passion for the country to customize a trip specially tailored to your needs. Feel free to contact me, I will share with you my love of discovering new cultures, building with you the trip of a lifetime !

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"Anywhere in Bolivia. We only organize tailor-made trips, so i will be more than hapy to organize out of the ordinary trip ! We also run multi-country trip all around South America."

How did you get involved in travel?

"Originally from the French Basque Country, my dream has always been to travel the world and discover new cultures. After my graduation I decided to head to Asia for work. I had the opportunity to meet local people and share with them the secrets of our different cultures. After living in Southeast Asia and India, I decided to continue exploring but this time in South America. Nothing better than the colorful Bolivia which offers a variety of wonderful landscapes, from its dense Amazon jungle to its Andean peaks."

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"There are so many but I think my most memorable travel experience was recently when I was accompanying a group of travelers. I am travel designer and not guide but that was a special occasion : one of our group wanted to cross the Salar de Uyuni in kitesurf. Unfortunatly in Bolivia this year, we registered record drought. As they they needed water desperatly, I asked a spiritual guide we know, to do a ritual to make it rain. We decided to left La Paz at the first light and drive across Bolivia to the Altiplano countryside. We arrived in the middle of nowhere, welcomed by a couple of bolivians, « gards » of the sacred place. The ceremony lasted more than 3 hours during which we did the rain dance. It was a magical moment, out of time. Believe it or not, the following day it rained non-stop in La Paz for a week and the Salar was entirely flooded ! Bolivia is a magical country for local encounters."

We had a wonderful time. Terra Andina were really good checking on us at arrival and notifying us of any changes. For me personally I loved La Paz and found Teresita the guide really informative. She helped me understand the many situations in the country and also the culture. We found the trip was divided into 3 sections. The first being La Paz and lake Titicaca and staying with locals.

We had a wonderful time in all aspects. Found Jamie and Marisol so kind and I think we ate the best food with them. Really enjoyed that they encouraged us to join in with activities such as picking potatoes and making cheese. Plus as it was my birthday I found they helped me celebrate well.

Then the 4 day trip round the sur lipez and salt flats. Eloy our driver and guide was brilliant. He was always finding us lovely places to eat not with the other tourists and the lunches were delicious . Set in breathtaking scenery. The whole 4 days was just amazing to see the diversity of the country. We were treated so well with Eloy and thoroughly enjoyed.

The final part was Potosi and Sucre. For us we didn’t enjoy Potosi but I think by then we were very tired. Was glad of a free day in Sucre to chill and enjoy the city at our leisure. The final day in La Paz was nice as to see the city sights plus the wrestling. Teresita was a great guide for us.

Overall it exceeded our expectations. I’m glad we went for a personal tour as would never have got all the information or places to eat and go. Thanks again to all the guides and Kim Kim and Terra Andina . Awesome
