Nicolò Tasca
Greetings! I was born in Venice, and as I grew up breathing the culture of my hometown, I soon discovered the importance of exploring the world, seeing different people and places, absorbing diversity and novelty, and becoming broad-minded. I journeyed around Italy far and wide, also I lived for some time in Japan, spent more than a year in Ireland, and I visited many other places across Europe and beyond, like the States and China.
I am genuinely fond of working in the travel industry. I worked for years in the cruise port of Venice, then in King Johns Castle in Limerick, Ireland. After obtaining an MA degree in International Tourism, I started my collaboration with Storywalking.
I will make it my mission for you fellow trippers to enjoy the most out of Italy. I guarantee to deliver my taylor-made FITs service as a prepared professional, and also by sharing my know-how as an experienced traveller. I always make sure you get the utmost satisfaction from your adventures in the Bel Paese!
How did you get involved in travel?
"Spending most of my life in Venice, a land that has tourism as one of the most important aspects, I soon found out the relief and great fun of travelling. From a very young age, I started exploring the beauty of Italy, enlarging then my orbits to all over Europe and the entire world."
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"When living in Japan, I once took a trip to one of the most astonishing Shinto shrines in the country, the Itsukushima Jinja, located off the Hiroshima coast. That day at the complex, famous for its Floating Torii gate, we were flabbergasted by a feeble snowfall, which slowly covered in white the red-painted wood of the shrine. It only snowed a couple of times that year. It was a true blessing."
