Highly recommend the truffle hunt, whether you know anything about truffles or not. Hosts were excellent. Cooking class and wine tasting was a blast.

The hotel is “fine.” It does the trick if you don’t care about nice accommodations. The bottles in the shower had broken nozzles that were not fixed the entire time we stayed. Room was humid in April.

Great location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Room temp would not go below 22 Celsius. Staff checked on it and it was “set” to winter and could only heat. Dated interior. Broken toilet seat. Fine, not great.

Marcus with LivTours was great. Kept the kids entertained.

Bruno the truffle hunter and his dogs were very authentic. This tour/experience lacked some engagement and direction.

Silvia / Sissi was amazing.

Boat section was nice - good to go around the island. Blue grotto was interesting but felt super touristy. The whole experience felt like we were getting nickel and dimed. Eg. boat guide dropped us on Capri and highly recommend we all take a shuttle at €100 for our family to Anacapri and then to Capri. Time was too short on the island so we didn’t really enjoy it - much spent on travel times. Very little direction on where to go in these towns (shopping, food, sights??) or what to do.

Pompeii was the least interesting and the tour guide didn’t really educate us the way others had. She also seemed to contradict herself.

Excellent location, delicious breakfast and coffee. Enjoyed the outdoor courtyard area. Appreciated the staff’s restaurant recommendations, and assistance with reservations.

Lovely hotel, excellent breakfast options. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Appreciated their help with restaurants and taxis. Location is very convenient to train station.

Amazing location and history of the hotel Right of the river. We slept with the windows open to have the nice breeze of the river.

WOWWWWW! room 300 with the private terrace was incredible! The room overlooked the lake and the breakfast was so die for! Centrally located to everything.

It was inside someones house and all hand made by us! it was one of the best pasta dishes we had all week

This was an amazing experience! I learned a lot and really enjoyed going to the market for fresh local ingredients. I’ve cooked the meal we made in Rome several times since we returned and everyone loves it!

The hotel itself was gorgeous! It was surround by a beautiful courtyard with 5 nice restaurants. Every member of the staff was kind and helpful. The snacks and drinks in the "American Bar" were super.

The guide was so knowledgable - very patient with all of our questions - and flexilble to adjust the tour to our desires. We learned so much!

The guide (Rafa) was so kind and so much fun! Sheknew the area and all of the history of the buildings, etc. She communicated well with us (in English) and with the restaraunt staff at each location. She had already made plans for meals and accompanying drinks in advance. This was a super way to see parts of the city at night, while enjoying the people and food/drink.

We LOVED this tour. The scenery was beautiful. The drive to get their was gorgeous. Plus, add sheep being herded right before us... geese running a squawking along the way... Our host was a real delight, but the specialties of this particulare winery (including the clay pots) are exceptional. Don't skip this because you've done a wine tour before. We had as well - and this was special.

Once again, our guide Rafa has more knowledge than we had taken in from books or Google. She was excited and willing to do everything and answer any questions. We never felt rushed, but spent a lot of time with our mouths open in awe of the history and beauty.
