Chiara Stefani
Born and raised in the South of Italy, travel has been my passion since childhood. I have always dreamt about exploring new places and filling my life with exciting adventures. As a plus, I grew up in the beautiful coastline of Salento and that made me become passionate about nature, traditional food, and local experiences. My dream to explore the world put me on a plane for the first time when I was a teenager. Since then I accumulated lots of trips and long experiences in Italy and abroad. During my experiences, I always try to soak up the culture by meeting locals, eating traditional food, and letting the place surprise me with special memories.
Now I would like that all the travelers who will visit Italy will feel at home and enjoy at the fullest their experience in my beautiful country.
How did you get involved in travel?
"I love Italy and how the landscape changes from region to region. During my trips with my family, I always imagined to be watching a show, nature outside of the window was dancing for me. I have always wanted to fill my eyes with beauty and for that reason, I studied Languages at the University. After graduation, I was craving to discover other cultures and I decided to live abroad for a while. I lived in Ireland, France, and Spain. Returning back to Italy I had the chance to start working in the hospitality industry. I truly enjoyed the process of creating tailor-made experiences for travelers who wanted to visit my region discovering hidden gems known only by locals. Now, with Storywalking, I can create experiences throughout Italy! "

"I keep unforgettable memories about all of my trips but the one with a special place in my heart is when I visited Cabo da Roca in Portugal. It was a very windy day and I was about to see the ocean for the first time. Of course, I had seen many pictures of the place before being there but the reality was a million times better than imagination. I was enraptured by the beauty of nature and I truly felt happy in that moment."
