"A unique experience was my experience in Pyramiden, a ghost town at the edge of the world. This is a town in Svalbard, the northernmost inhabited place on Earth.
I couldn't believe I was in this abandoned settlement, just 1,000 kilometers from the North Pole, with this extreme weather conditions and a picturesque setting which gives me a sense of adventure and that I was stepping back in time in an unforgiving landscape.
Empty streets, past boarded-up houses and abandoned buildings. The only sound was the wind whistling through the deserted town.
Pyramiden is a reminder of the human spirit and our ability to thrive in even the most challenging environments."
