this was a perfect location for us, but the room we were assigned could have been nicer. It was VERY small, but at least it was very quiet, which we appreciated. Staff were extremely pleasant and breakfast was good.

Perfectly located and a very large room. The room decor was a bit spartan but it was comfortable. The hotel had a lot of seating areas where you could gather with people who were traveling with you. We saw families playing games and couples chatting together in various locations around the hotel.

This is a lovely hotel with a perfect water front location. There is plenty of seating with views of the water and also a courtyard with seating if it got cool on the water. Blankets were provided on the backs of chairs and couches if it got cool. They had live music in the courtyard one night. Providing a dinner meal as well as breakfast was helpful. The dinner food was adequate but not spectacular.

This hotel was not up to the standard we were expecting. It doesn't deserve more than 2 stars. We were very disappointed with it.

This was fun. Thor, the guide, was informative and funny but quite full of himself. He was also very unkempt, meaning his clothes were dirty and he didn't smell very good. I think that might be part of the image he's trying to project. We were among the oldest participants, but that didn't bother us any. It felt strange to be following a guy with a rolling cooler full of beer around the streets, but that made it quirky and fun. It was very conveniently located for us since our hotel was right around the corner from where it started, but it's not the greatest part of town overall. The beers were just ok - nothing special.

This was a much nicer tour than we were expecting. There's a lot to see and do at this castle. We took a guided tour with an English speaking guide, and quite enjoyed it.

Our guide Caroline was very good. This was truly and relaxing and informative tour that included some wonderful treats along the way.

This was very fun and most food items enjoyed were terrific. Some were a bit odd but we enjoyed learning about them even if we didn't enjoy tasting them.

This was a very thorough tour that was tailored to what the guide thought we would enjoy seeing. He did a great job. We were a little late starting because he went to the wrong hotel. We sent a message to KimKim and they got in touch we him. It all worked out fine.

This was a good tour and included many things we hadn't seen before, but also overlapped a little with some things we'd seen on a previous tour.

Humdy (spelling?) our driver was outstanding. He was so kind and thoughtful. We had the same driver for both days, which was a surprise and a delight. He spent extra time with us and tried very hard to make sure we had seen everything we wanted to.

Fantastic breakfast and a great location!!

This was a fun hotel! Bring a sleep mask if you stay during the summer because the skylight doesn’t have any cover and it’s bright all night! But the Viking aesthetic and proximity to the boat and restaurants are great.

Really slow WiFi, which mattered to me as an international traveler with no cellular data available. But, comfortable place to stay and I was grateful for the access to laundry facilities my this point in my 2 week trip

Really one of my favorite memories of my trip to Norway.

Had my favorite tour guide who almost felt like a friend by the end. Loved all of his local knowledge and friendly advice.

Quiet and modern electric boat that made a trip along this stunning fjord feel intimate and peaceful

Very unique and modern hotel. Really liked the pool, cold plunge tub and sauna. Service by employees also excellent. Good location, walked to several restaurants and shopping was close. Recommend this hotel.
