Both Fenne and Ellise were very informative, professional, responsive and knowledgeable in helping me plan our trip to Norway. I was able to change itinerary several times, easily and always got quick responses. It was comforting knowing if at any time I had a problem or needed to make a change I could call them for help. I would definitely recommend Kim Kim, especially for people traveling somewhere for the first time.

I was very happy with how things worked out with the entire Kim Kim team. Willing to work with me and make adjustments as needed and asked. They were very responsive to questions and requests that were made.

If I can make a suggestion, perhaps offering some options to choose from would be helpful. For example, options for hotels in a given location that might affect the price overall. Or for the hike to Kjeragbolt, going over the various hike options (all in one day, overnight, etc). And my least favorite thing was the Bergen to Flam to Bergen because of how long it took. I admit this was my fault for not looking at the details in advance but other options might have been helpful. One other suggestion would be greater assistance with traveling to the various locations.

Please understand, the trip was fabulous and the help that you all provided was outstanding. The above are just suggestions to make things even better.

Bergen to Flam "The King of Fjords" Round-Trip Cruise

While scenic, this was very long trip. It was around 12 hours of which 10 hours were on board the ship

Overall the trip was great, and good activity suggestions from our KimKim specialist. Going to, and staying in Odda was a highlight. The one thing I would change was the itinerary for Bergen: there were 2 cable car / funicular rides up the mountains above the town with activities suggested for the top. I believe it should have been 1 such activity, and let us choose during the trip design phase. One was a bike ride at the top (Floibanen), the other would have been hikes/ walks at the top (Ulriken).

Good location and good breakfast. Our room itself was nice but was on the 3rd floor which had a pedestrian walkway just outside so window curtains had to be closed most of the time. Also, room temperature was a little too warm.

We had a wonderful time in Norway and it all worked as planned! Thanks to Eliise that managed to plan a child friendly trip for us and our 3 years old daughter!!

My wife and I recently embarked on an incredible adventure in Norway, and we owe it all to KimKim! From start to finish, this journey was an absolute dream come true. First and foremost, the planning process was seamless. The KimKim team truly understood our preferences via the quiz and follow-ups, tailoring the itinerary accordingly. Their extensive knowledge of Norway ensured that every destination, activity, and accommodation choice was perfectly aligned with our interests. We had the privilege of experiencing a diverse range of landscapes, from the breathtaking fjords to the rugged mountains, beautiful cities, and charming small towns/villages.

The local guides (Eliise and Fenne!) arranged by KimKim were nothing short of phenomenal. Their expertise and passion for their country were evident in every step of the journey. Whether it was exploring the hidden gem of Balestrand, hiking up a mountain, getting in the views from the Ulriken Cable Car, or witnessing the awesome beauty of Oslo & Bergen, each experience was meticulously curated to create lasting memories for both of us.

As we had an unexpected worry with the ferry to Dragsvik/Balestrand and whether we were going the right way, KimKim immediately came to our help and proactively calmed our anxieties with ferry time tables as well as other details. Their responsiveness and quick problem-solving abilities truly set them apart.

The accommodations selected by KimKim were top-notch and aligned with our interest in supporting local/Norwegian/Scandinavian. The Dragsvik Fjord hotel in particular was outstanding, with breathtaking views to help fit our budget. Every stay (with the exception of one, that we knew we were getting into) exceeded our expectations. It was clear that KimKim had a keen eye for selecting accommodations that perfectly complemented the overall experience, and thoughtfulness to ask whether the accommodations were up to expectation.

We cannot recommend KimKim enough for anyone planning a trip to Norway. Their dedication to creating a personalized and unforgettable adventure is truly remarkable. We unfortunately did not take this tour as our trip was too compact and busy during this timeframe. We had to skip.

Eliise organised an awesome 7 day trip in Norway for us. Communication and payment was easy in lead up to travel. Support during travel was great over whatsapp. We were a little unlucky with the weather (strong winds and heavy rain) which obstructed some of the views for our hikes with blanket fog - but we still made the most of our time. Some of the hikes were challenging but rewarding (many stairs!!). We found the local people in Norway very friendly and polite, and fresh Cod was delicious - recommend ordering fish on the menu!
We enjoyed the icy mountain tops of the Lofoten Isands and even tried out Arctic surf lessons which was very fun and a bucket list item! We would go through Kimkim again for travel.

We added Norway trip to our Iceland trip towards the end. Eliise jumped in gave us options. We went back and forth few times to nail down what we wanted based on our liking and budget. She was very open with the options and suggestions. She even guided us in things that we decided to do on our own. We landed in Oslo and then spent most of our time in Bergen. There was an issue with hotel reservation and had to call emergency number. It was resolved eventually. Hotel was fantastic and location was just dead center. Loved the cruise and train rides. Only thing I would say is that there was not much follow up from the planner like our other trips.

We had an early flight so it was perfect that this hotel was right across from Oslo airport. Staff was friendly and guided us with trip to Oslo city center. They even provided packed breakfast though we ended up eating there. Breakfast spread was amazing with so many varieties and catering to all dietary restrictions. Room was spacious. Trash can in bathroom was broken but other than that it was comfortable.

Cruise was very comfortable and some great views of the near by village, Bergen bryggen and water falls along the way. Ship was comfortable with ample space on the deck and inside heated cabin. Restrooms were there too. They had a cafe with lots of food and drink options. The crew gave a treasure hunt/bingo for kids to spot and gave ice creams. Only improvement would be better windows for the inside cabin for better view.
