Tariq Abo El Nor

I'm born and raised in Switzerland but was always attracted to Latin America. With an age of 22 years I decided to quit my job to explore Latin America. When I arrived to Ecuador I felt in love with the country and its people. My initial plan was to stay for 2 weeks and this was 4 years ago...

The first time when I went to the Galapagos I could't believe what I was experiencing. It was the most amazing time I ever had. Playing with the sea lions under water, seeing the cute boobies nesting, snorkelling while marine iguanas are feeding their babies, learning more about fauna and flora, having breakfast while dolphins are approaching are just few of the unforgettable moments.

I love to share my experiences and helping other people to book their once in a lifetime trip.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"Our main touristic activities are in the Galapagos Islands. Either if you want to take a cruise around the islands or stay in a high-end hotel, our products and services in the Galapagos assure a memorable travel experience in this unique paradise."

How did you get involved in travel?

"I always was interested in different cultures, so I started in very early years to explore the beautiful sides of our world. Especially Latin America attracted me since I was a child, so no surprise that I ended up in Ecuador. I believe that nothing is more valuable than travel experiences. Actually I cannot stay for a log time on the same place. Probably I get too fast bored, but just because of my curiosity and urge to explore new things I was (and still) travelling a lot."

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

The most amazing experiences I ever had was muy trip to the Galapagos. There are simply no words to describe what I felt during this time. I love animals and it was just amazing to see such a beautiful eco system with no bad influence. Even the small birds aren't scared of the humans which gives you a none comparable opportunity to get in touch with animals in their natural habitat.

I have a lot of memories which I definitely won't forget, but there was a particular moment which was unforgettable; I had no worse nightmare than meeting a shark. We had a swarm of white tipped sharks below us and the guide gave the ok to jump into the water so that we can snorkel with the sharks. There was absolutely no danger as white tipped sharks are very gentle and they anyway have enough food so the human is generally uninteresting. The guide briefed my about sharks and I learned much more about this fascinating animals and lost, at least, a little bit my fear.

My curiosity defeated my fear so I jumped. It was impressive! So many sharks under me. I never realised how beautiful those animals are. I approached to the sharks until I could see them closer. I loved this moment! "

I wish we had known the physical level required for the trip. I found it to be more physical than expected - - not undo-able, but would have appreciated knowing that walking sticks over the lava beds are suggested and vaulting from the panga to the yacht is a 2-3 times a day requirement.

Tariq was responsive and had an answer for our questions within a few hours every time.
