Hi! my name is Veronica, I'm a Venezuelan living in Costa Rica. I fell in love with this country from the moment I arrived. I've decided to encourage and help people to travel and discover Costa Rica so they can see why I decided to stay.

I really like anything that has to do whit adventure, so when I'm not working you can find me looking for new places to hike or maybe looking for a great waterfall to spend the afternoon. Also, I really enjoy languages, so one of my hobbies is getting to learn as much as I can of any language of my interest like English or French

"I'm specialized in Costa Rica! I have a Master's in Events and MICE tourism (meetings, incentives, conferences, and events). I love to design family vacations and honeymoon trips. Adventure, nature, luxury, and cultural destinations are my preferred ingredients to create memorable trips! "

How did you get involved in travel?

"After arriving in Costa Rica I started my tourism education, I did not know how much I was going to love this career! after getting to know all the people, all the places, and all the adventures I decided that I wanted to work as a tourism expert for the rest of my life! "

"I will never forget the first time I visited the Arenal Volcano, I was on a ziplining tour and the view of the Volcano caught me off guard it was so majestic and beautiful that I just couldn't keep myself from crying. It was a perfect trip for me and since then La Fortuna and the Arenal Volcano became my favorite destination. "

The rooms are really large. The breakfast was very good. The hot springs blew our minds. The only down side of this hotel is it's a $40 round trip taxi ride to get into town if you want to eat somewhere besides the hotel.

This was our favorite hotel during our stay in Costa Rica. The bird watching at the hotel was better than any of the nature reserves. Love the bungalow style rooms with the veranda. The views of the Pacific Ocean were incredible. The hotel also did a great job with accommodating my Celiac food allergy. The free laundry service was a major perk. We could walk to restaurants close by. We used the yoga room and weights a few times to work out. The restaurant at the hotel served a great breakfast and the dinner was one of the best meals we had the whole trip.

The driver was great and had snacks and drinks for us. La Paz was a nice way to break of the long drive. We spent a couple of hours exploring the waterfalls and wildlife and proceeded to our hotel.

Our guide was good but we finished the tour 30 minutes before the included lunch place even opened and we didn't want to wait around. The waterfall and swimming were definitely worth it.

This was our favorite tour of the trip. We saw 9 sloths and got amazing photos of them. Our guide was so helpful as we would have never been able to spot them without his expertise. The food afterwards was so yummy!

The weather was awful and the whole tour was cut short. We came back drenched and cold. Can't really see what would have been very interesting about the tour even if the weather had cooperated.

Our guide was great and found things we could have never seen. The forest was beautiful. He was very knowledgeable and his English was amazing.

The guide was really hard to understand. The bridges were a bit of a let down. Nothing like advertised. The staff were all a bit rude and we felt rushed during the zip line. The forest and zip line was still fun but the rude staff put a damper on the whole experience. We also had to wait a full hour between activities and then almost another full hour after zip lining for our ride back to the hotel.

The people were lovely, and the guides always on time and so kind and helpful, including the one who was waiting for us in the middle of the night with a smile and cooler of drinks after an 8-hr flight delay. I would definitely use KimKim for future trips and Veronica if I return to Costa Rica.

Costa Rica was amazing, the trip that KimKim (Veronica) planned for us was on point. They listen to my requirements and provided the perfect itinerary. All excursion and guides were excellent and our most memorable sites were, 3 volcanos(La Poas, Arenal and Rincon de la Vieja; 7 waterfalls (loved the La Paz Waterfall Gardens and Oropendola - were we were able to swim next to the falls). Costa Rica was amazing, the trip that KimKim (Veronica) planned for us was on point. They listen to my requirements and provided the perfect itinerary. All 3 hotels had great service and supported us in every need( Country Inn & Suites by Radison San Jose; Arenal Spring Resort & Spa(spa services were amazing); and Hotel Hacienda Guachepelin(great location within the Rincon de la Vieja Park). We loved our hot springs within the Hacienda Orosi. We made changes within our trip to add excursions and Veronica worked out the details for us, we loved her.

She understood exactly what we were looking for, planned the ideal trip, and made herself available for phone calls and messages at all times.

We traveled with our 3-Year-Old. She loved the trip and especially the nature hikes and spotting wildlife and birds. The food was incredible. Nothing fancy but everything is so fresh, and a lot of attention is paid to preparation regardless of where you eat from Soda’s to the 4-star hotels. My wife is a vegetarian and she had plenty of options to choose from.

All our pickups were timely and all we had to do was show up and enjoy ourselves. Transportation between our destinations of La Fortuna, Monteverde, and Manuel Antonio were seamless.

I highly recommend Kim Kim; it made my life and trip so much easier!

Everything about this trip was smooth and perfect!

This was the most beautiful hotel we've ever stayed at. We LOVED the hot springs and enjoyed the entire atmosphere of the hotel. The friendliness, helpfulness and service was exceptional. Food was very good. Room very comfortable. Shuttle service to the hot springs runs every few minutes and makes everything very accessible. We stayed for 4 nights and very glad we did! Because of the clouds, the volcano was only visible on our last morning, but what an amazing view we had!

Our driver picked us up on time and we drove in comfort to the Sarapiqui River. The driver provided us with good background information as we drove to our destination. The rafting adventure was awesome! We did class 2-3 rapids in a raft with only us and our guide. A photographer paddled in a kayak near us and took photos. It was beautiful, fun and very exciting! The break for fresh fruit and the meal afterward were very nice.

This great hike to the volcano was beautiful and moderately challenging. We loved the fabulous views. Our guide was excellent and provided much information as we hiked. Relaxing afterward with a pineapple snack and watching the wildlife was memorable!

Another highlight of our week! The park was crowded, but we were able to enjoy an amazing morning. We were on a small group tour with 11 people in our group. Our guide was very kind, interesting, professional and considerate of everyone's interests. We were able to see things with the guide that we never would have seen on our own. Spending the morning at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center was one of our trip highlights. We had a small group tour with 2 other families and our guide was fabulous! He provided an educational and engaging overview of the center. The volunteer experience was fun...we weighed, measured and chopped up fruits for the wildlife and then put the meals in home-made kongs, then delivered to the animals.

We had an amazing trip! Costa Rica is a beautiful place with so much to see and do! We visited Costa Rica from Jan 4-18. We started in Tortuguero and finished in Manuel Antonio. We spent 2 nights in 5 different locations and 3 nights in Tamarindo. We visited Costa Rica from Jan 4-18. We started in Tortuguero and finished in Manuel Antonio. We spent 2 nights in 5 different locations and 3 nights in Tamarindo. For the most part that was a perfect amount of time. However I do wish we had 3 nights in Manuel Antonio and a better hotel location in Arenal. The Kim Kim team was always easy to contact. The tour guides they work with are very good especially Marco in Tortuguero and Charlie in Arenal. We appreciated the good food we ate for breakfast and the kind workers at the lodges. All were very helpful. Don’t hesitate working with Kim Kim.
We did buy trip insurance since the payment amount due was several month before departure.

Pretty hotel, nice swimming pool and hot tube. Nice walking trail on the premises. We throughly enjoyed the dinner and sax player in the restaurant. The restaurant staff is amazing. Creative food! Bed was comfortable and staff very accommodating.

Breath taking views! Beautiful Spanish style hotel, outdoor dining, breakfast buffet and hiking near by. We watched the monkeys and birds from our balcony on early mornings. It was just great. Also hiked down to the beach one afternoon. It’s a wonderful place to stay. Need a car or cab if you leave the premises.

Pura Vida!
I recently had the pleasure of working with Veronica at Kim Kim Travel Agency to plan my 6 day family vacation to Costa Rica. Planning a vacation is never easy, but Kim Kim made the process incredibly easy for me. We communicated a lot via the website allowing me to get my questions answered easily.
During our five days, we had nothing to worry about. Transportation and activities were all taken care of. In Arenal we did the hot pools and took a beautiful hike around the volcano. We also took incredible photos of the stunning waterfall and got to swim around it . The hanging bridges were also amazing!
We moved on to Manuel Antonio where we went on a private catamaran, snorkeled and swam in the ocean. We went deep sea fishing and also explored the National Park. We saw monkeys, sloths, snakes and many other things native to Costa Rica. The beach and the sunset view was amazing!
I highly recommend Kim Kim, it made my life and trip so much easier!

Our trip was fantastic and memorable! All of the logistics (with the exception of a few minor mishaps) were well planned and we were able to do all of our activities. Veronica was very attentive and helpful and met our every request. All accommodations (except Pueblo Dorado Surf Hotel which was ok) were fantastic and activities were amazing! We loved Arenal Paraiso and El Establo and found both accommodations to be excellent. Pueblo Dorado was ok-not quite as nice and had some issues with ants in our room. However all people were very kind and helpful and respectful.
Veronica and team were available 24 hours a day for questions and answers and to provide help. I was nervous using a company to plan the trip and we were very happy with the outcome. Everyone was professional and kind and helpful. Our overall trip was unbelievable and we would recommend Kim Kim band use them again! Pura vida!!
