After the graduation from university in 1993, I came back to my hometown Guilin to work as a tour guide to serve the clients from all over the world. Having been traveling extensively in this country in the past 25 years, I am still passionate about what I am doing. Please let me work with you to discover the real best travel experience in China.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"There is so much to offer in China. I just do what I am sure to bring your great travel experiences. It includes the soft adventures like hiking, cycling, photography to see the rural areas in Southwest China including Guangxi, Guizhou, Yunnan and Sichuan. I can also do rest part of China and customize a trip that suits your needs. "

How did you get involved in travel?

"My major in university was tourism management. I started my career as a tour guide, which made me learn a lot about the industry. My dream was to travel extensively in the country and have my own travel company. After 19 years of efforts, my dreams came true. I became a co-founder of a tour company and created an affiliated brand - Guilin Cycling Tours. Through it, I would like to share my travel experiences with friends coming from all over the world."

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"The latest unique travel experience I had is that I had a hiking trip at Tiger Leaping Gorge, Southwest China. When I stood at the platform of a guesthouse on the mountain, in front of me there was a thousand-meter-deep valley sandwiched by snow-capped mountains on each side. The roaring of the turbulant Jinsha River could be heard on the mountain. I was really overwhelmed by the power and beauty of nature. Surely I will be back here with my daughter."

Yi was a great tour resource for our family. He recommended great places for lunch, things that our kids would enjoy and the providers were on time and friendly. Yi was also able to converse very well in English. Our specific tour guide (Kai) was very knowledgeable as a local to the Beijing area. Thank you Kai! Now for the great disappointment... Now for the great disappointment... We spent an extraordinary amount of money to have a lifetime helicopter tour of the Great Wall. What we paid for was a 30 minute tour but the reality is that we only had 10 minutes hovering around the densely populated tourist part of the wall. We would have expected to see more of the expanse of the Great Wall rather than just circling the tourist area 3 times and calling it a day. It was a complete rip off and disappointment. Don't do it unless you really don't want to walk all the steps (which we did and was amazing).

At the same time, I have to say sorry about the helicopter tour. It was understood by me that the visit to the Great Wall meant a lot to you and your children. That was why I arranged you a day trip to the Great Wall at Mutianyu Section on the previous day. There were much less tourists there, and you had a great time. Badaling Great Wall is very popular among Chinese tourists, while a reliable and professional helicopter company is based there. Then I chose them as the service provider for your helicopter flight. Since China's air force controls more than 70% of air space, and Beijing is the potilical capital of China, the flight route and time are restricted and fixed like what I promised before. If I could have let you know more about the situation in China, then you might make a reasonable decision. Please accept my sincere apology for any inconvenience caused.

Once again thank you for traveling with us. China is a destination worth visiting many times. If possible, please give me another chance in the future to plan your trip in China, let me do something to make up for the regret this time.
