Guide and driver were excellent. Hotel in Tiiblisi (Rooms Hotel Tblisi) was also excellent

Planning my trip to Georgia with the help of Keti was very smooth and I appreciated her prompt responsiveness. Our guide Reti was courteous and very knowledgeable; we really enjoyed spending the day with him. However, I thought the visit of the David Gareja monastery as well as the visit of the Sinanghali town were underwhelming. Nevertheless the nature on the way to David Gareja was stunning and if you want to see beautiful landscapes that's a great road to take.

We've taken several trips with KimKim and this one had more hiccups. Dislikes:
1. Zehra's company subcontracted the work to another company and that caused too many issues. That was also not disclosed to us. That ended up being a big deal, contributing to my low star ranking
2. Guidance and the FAQs in our travel packet were all about Turkey, but our trip was to Georgia so that was a huge miss. I wanted the same guidance but for the location we were visiting...
3. The hotel in Kutaisi was TERRIBLE. there was mold in the showers, the food was sub par. Our entire group could not wait to check out of that dump.
4. While we enjoy full, busy days, it was often too rushed - too hard to get to things on time and we didn't have any space to linger longer when we wanted to.
5. No beach club was booked for us despite the back and forth with Zehra. This could have been a miscommunication but we really thought we'd asked her to book the beach club for us. This was in Batumi
6. Two of the hotels didn't have the correct bed set up for some of our party which was VERY explicitly discussed up front. While it was resolved, it was incredibly unfortunate that we had any issues at all. This was unacceptable and honestly I still don't understand how/why it happened.

Likes:
Overall, we had a great trip and I think KimKim did a much better job resolving the issues with our travelers. Unlike our Sicily trip which I'm still mad about the lack of resolution for one of our travelers.

Overall, I used to be very high on using and recommending KimKim. Now, i'm on the fence.

Gorgeous country, very nice people. Keti organized our round trip very well. Our guide and our driver were fabulous. I can only recommend

Our local guide company, Visit Georgia, was great and we loved our guide and driver. There seemed to be many miscommunications between KimKim and the local company which impacted overall ease throughout the trip. This was unfortunate. Areas impacted included: the itinerary on Kim Kim did not exactly match our local guide’s plans for our day. The hotel in Kutaisi was below our standards. Two out of three hotels did not have the room accommodations requested. Our local guide was not aware of our dinner reservations or the itinerary provided to us by Kim Kim. Overall, using Kim Kim felt like more of a hassle and we would have been better off just booking directly with Visit Georgia.

We had a magical time exploring Tbilisi and the surrounding area for four days with our guide Ana! Georgia is a hidden gem and Ana gave us so much insight into the culture and history while showing us all the best the area has to offer (including some great local food recommendations!). Highly recommend Georgia, Ana and kimkim.

My trip to the south Caucasus countries of Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia was excellent! I had 3 different guides (one in each country) that were wonderfully insightful, helpful, and knowledgeable about their countries, food, people, and places. In Azerbaijan, Turkan was super funny and very enthusiastic, and she kept the days action packed with some cool side-trips and a great tour of Baku. In Georgia, Alex took me all over the country including Tbilisi, and I learned a ton about the food and wine. I really also enjoyed our day in the mountains with tremendous views. And finally, Avet in Armenia had fantastic insights and did some incredible driving all over the country. Yerevan was super fun as was finally getting the chance to see Mt. Ararat (I've never not seen it shrouded in clouds before). I also enjoyed the Armenian wine and food, especially on our trip to the southern mountains. And of course, as usual, Zehra managed all the details behind the scenes to make sure my hotels, guides, and border transits were all in order. Would recommend this kind of trip to anybody looking to get an introductory survey to these 3 countries - it was fantastic!

This tour of Georgia exceeded my expectations. Lela went above and beyond the usual duties of a tour guide as she cheerfully and tirelessly introduced me to the history and culture of her country going from site-to-site. Her English was great! I have never seen anything like Uplistsikhe; it was fascinating to behold. I had some unexpected yet important life-lessons taught to me as I visited the Green Monastery and Vardzia. Our driver Nika seemed to be very familiar with the roads. His driving was efficient yet careful, and he exhibited great patience! The food was fabulous. As a solo lady traveler, I felt safe at all times. I will always remember my time here and highly recommend this tour!
