Ana Gutierrez

Traveling is what I love the most! I really enjoy traveling and discovering new amazing places, and people, for sure, but I also enjoy a lot of showing my favorite destinations to others, sharing experiences, flavors, adventures.
I'm happy to design unique experiences for you and tell you my best personal #AnaTips to enjoy in every spot of my beautiful country.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"I can help travelers who are looking forward to discovering Argentina, with almost everything in the country, but I really love designing travel adventures, unique experiences, tailor-made itineraries, and personalized services, especially in the North of Argentina."

How did you get involved in travel?

"I’ve been traveling for a couple of years now, and I also have a degree in Tourism, so I can say that I like to travel and I know some stuff.
I started working in tourism while I was still studying at University, and after spending some time working in an office I decided to start traveling, becoming a solo traveler through Sudamerica. Then I realized what I really want to do (and what I enjoy doing the most), is share the beauty of my country with travelers from all over the world, showing others the amazing experiences and richness of culture we have in Argentina, and of course our delicious food and wines."

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"There are a lot of experiences I consider memorable, but I should say one of my favorites is walking around Iguazu Park and being impressed by the waterfalls. Discovering the amazing Patagonian lakes, and their colorful trees are also in my top 5.
And last but not least, I love the stunning landscapes at Salta and Jujuy, in the Argentinian Northwest."

Iguazu Falls
Buenos Aires & Iguazu Falls - 5 Days

This trip takes you through one of Argentinas most beautiful landscapes, Iguazu Falls. You’ll start your tour in Argentina’s cosmopolitan capital city of Buenos Aires where you'll have a chance to explore the city's vibrant streets. Next, head north to Iguazu Falls, located on the borders of Brazil and Paraguay. Spend some quality time admiring the beauty and power of the falls before returning to Buenos Aires.

Cerro de los Siete Colores
Beauty of Northern Argentina - 6 Days

Immerse yourself in Argentina's rich culture and beautiful landscapes in this quick six-day itinerary. Begin by exploring the metropolitan capital of Buenos Aires. Next, visit the colonial city of Salta, your jumping off point for the rugged gorges, salt flats, and painted deserts of Argentina's far north. Top it all off with a visit to San Antonio de Areco, a traditional cowboy town where you'll stay on a working estancia.

mendoza
Argentina's Wine Country: Buenos Aires & Mendoza - 4 Days

If Argentina is the breadbasket of South America, then Mendoza is the wine bottle. The fertile lands around this city, near the border with Chile, produce premier varietals including Argentina's flagship, Malbec. Over a brisk four days, you'll venture from the European-inspired streets of Buenos Aires to Mendoza's wide leafy boulevards and out into the country for vineyard tours and tastings of world-class wines.

We had a wonderful trip to Patagonia with the assistance of KimKim and their rep Ana. Our 13 day trip took us through Ushuaia, El Calafate, El Chalten/Fitz Roy and W-Trek at Torres Del Paine. We had wanted to do some customized experiences, such as our own camping - and she was accommodating.
We were welcomed at the start of our trip in Buenos Aires with a welcome gift box with souvenirs, local food/snacks and wine - and also at some other later accommodations there were welcome gifts waiting for us, which was a nice touch.
We did have a couple hiccups with car transfers between locations, but Ana quickly resolved those.
As for our itinerary - I think we did as much as we could in a 13 day period. But to fully experience both the Argentina and Chile side of Patagonia one really would need an extra week, as there was a good amount of things we didn't have time to do on either side. Also with the weather being unpredictable one would want extra time, just because there may be days you can't see much - but that depends on the time of year also (we went in the fall). However this bucket list trip was epic nonetheless and we will treasure the memories forever.
