How did you get involved in travel?

"Born in Bali and raised across different parts of Indonesia, I grew up immersed in the country's rich tapestry of cultures and traditions. Coming from a multicultural family only deepened that curiosity about people and the diverse ways we experience the world, which I believe is what naturally drew me to the travel industry. Today, I find my greatest joy in curating journeys that go beyond the surface, helping travelers connect with the soul of Indonesia, whether through its breathtaking landscapes, living traditions, or the genuine warmth.

Our guide Adi was incredibly knowledgeable and so excited each time we asked him a question. You could feel his love for Bali and the people. Out driver Ardi was also amazing!
We had the luck of being in Bali on a major holiday so got to see the people and temples dressed up!
Sofitel Nusa Dua cannot be beat!
K Club was in a beautiful setting- high in the mountains.
We had a packed itinerary so be sure when planning you’re ok with long drives and bad traffic or just stay in one area....

The setting was lovely but the spa and pool were under renovation. The seafood restaurant was outstanding and the food at Akar, the steak restaurant was excellent but the dinner service was not good. Breakfast service was great! Best part was the wonderful ‘butlers’ who drove us to and from the room to restaurants!

This was the first time I used KimKim/mytripology. I worked with two different planners—Priscilla and Jessica. Together we created a lovely itinerary for Bali and Komodo. Unfortunately my airline was delayed and we had to cancel the first day. While they were able to rearrange and reschedule most activities, the first night hotel was not willing to give me a refund. Kimkim offered a dinner as compensation. A nice gesture but surely a hotel given two days notice should refund room rate. Also... Read more

This was the first time I used KimKim/mytripology. I worked with two different planners—Priscilla and Jessica. Together we created a lovely itinerary for Bali and Komodo. Unfortunately my airline was delayed and we had to cancel the first day. While they were able to rearrange and reschedule most activities, the first night hotel was not willing to give me a refund. Kimkim offered a dinner as compensation. A nice gesture but surely a hotel given two days notice should refund room rate. Also we had booked a high end liveaboard boat in Komodo. Apparently the boat company decided to cancel out prepaid reservation in favor of a private charter. Again KimKim scrambled and was able to get us on another boat (of lower quality), but it made me wonder about their vetting quality of tour operators. We did get the monetary difference refunded. All that said, our online daily contact, Deta, was very polite and responsive and quite helpful along the way. I would give the whole experience 4.5 stars.

Regarding the hotel refund, hotel cancellation policies in Indonesia can often differ from those in the United States . Unfortunately, despite our efforts and the advance notice provided, the hotel was unable to grant a refund for the missed night. As a gesture of goodwill, we arranged a complimentary dinner of similar value to help offset the loss and show our commitment to your experience.

As for the Komodo liveaboard situation, this was an unfortunate operational issue at the destination level rather than a reflection of the overall quality of the tour operator itself. While the cancellation was entirely beyond our control, we understand your concerns and immediately worked to secure the best available alternative while also ensuring that the price difference was refunded. We recognize that this was not the experience you originally booked, and for that we are truly sorry.

We greatly appreciate your understanding, your constructive feedback, and the trust you placed in both mytripology and Kimkim. Feedback such as yours helps us continue improving our services.
