Bérénice Amizet

I was born in Blois, in the heart of the Loire Valley and its castles, where I grew up surrounded by history, culture, and timeless beauty. This heritage soon became a passion that I now share with travelers seeking authentic experiences.
My journey has taken me from Berlin to Frankfurt and across France: from La Rochelle’s coastline to Lyon, through Montpellier, Nice, Bordeaux, and the peaceful Marais Poitevin. In each place, I explored the surroundings, connected with local life, and discovered highlights that reveal the true character of a region.
For several years, I have specialized in cycling tours, creating itineraries for all levels. These journeys are more than routes. They are immersive experiences: pedaling through stunning landscapes, tasting regional flavors, and discovering heritage in a different light.
My promise is simple: to make every trip a gentle, authentic, and memorable adventure, where travelers return home with experiences that stay long after the journey ends.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"I have been specializing in cycling tours for several years, both across France and in parts of Europe. My destination of choice for cycling in France is the Loire Valley with its world-famous castles, gentle riverside paths, and rich cultural heritage. It is the ultimate cycling destination in France. I also know the Atlantic Coast, Germany, and the French Riviera very well, having lived and traveled in these regions. While they are not my main focus for cycling, this knowledge allows me to guide travelers with authentic insights and recommendations."

How did you get involved in travel?

"I first became interested in travel when I organized a family trip to Tanzania at the age of 17. That experience made me realize that this was what I truly wanted to do, and it inspired me to pursue studies in tourism.
Cycling came into the picture a few years later. During the time when borders were closed and people were looking for outdoor and nature-based trips, I started creating cycling journeys. Since then, it has become for me not only a professional specialty but also a genuine way of traveling; taking the time to slow down, connect with the surroundings, and discover a region in depth."

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"One of the travel experiences I enjoyed the most was cycling along the Loire and seeing my region through fresh eyes. With every pedal stroke, I left behind the rush of everyday life. The river followed me like a guiding thread, serene and majestic, framed by ever-changing landscapes: sometimes vineyards, sometimes a village of pale stone, sometimes the imposing silhouette of a château. Cycling gave me the freedom to stop whenever I wished: to take a photo, to wander into a spontaneous visit, or simply to breathe in the fresh air. No goal of speed, no constraints, just the joy of cycling at my own rhythm through an enchanting setting. In this way, I rediscovered my region from a new perspective, closer and more personal, as if the journey had opened new windows onto what I thought I already knew. In the end, this trip was more than just a ride: it was an invitation to slow down, to look, and to savor."
