Candice Michel
Based in the French Alps for 4 years now, I fell in love with the idea of discovering bespoke places just by hiking. By solo-travelling in many places in Europe, Central America etc. I met so many great people in the most unexpected ways. Thanks to these amazing encounters, I now know what experiencing new places and cultures actually means. Which is why I am really focused on offering high-quality experiences. A holiday is not just a holiday, it’s a time to relax, discover and step back from our daily-lives.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"I specialize in the Tour du Mont Blanc, the French Alps in general with moderate to challenging hiking experiences. I also have a good knowledge of the rest of France and Switzerland."
How did you get involved in travel?
"I’ve always been really curious about other places and people. Discovering and learning are two of my core ‘values’. Which is why I've decided to study tourism since my A-Level !"
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"Back in 2018, I went for a two-months stay in Costa Rica where not only did I get involved with the local tourism development but I also taught French to primary-school students and elderly people. I could travel around, meet so many people, discover so many stories and so on. This trip left a real print in how I exchange with people and how I represent the destinations I work for. By putting people at the center of my work."
