Allibert-Trekking

Allibert trekking saw the light of day some 40 years ago, nurtured from the desire of three mountain guides to live their passion. Together they traveled the world: from the Alps to the Himalayas, the Andes to the Sahara. Tireless travelers, they always explore new destinations, which has helped in firmly rooting this family business into the domain of nature-related trekking.
With our Mont-Blanc Experience, we now accompany our international clients all over the Alps. This Department is managed by a small, flexible and professional team (managers and French guides) who, based on their experience with the Alps, offer clients world-wide, a rich and varied range of hiking, climbing, mountaineering and skiing tours in the Alps, during summer and winter. As our base in the Alps, we have an office in Chamonix, France’s mountain capital!

Allibert-Trekking is part of the following groups: France Travel Agents, Italy Travel Agents, Switzerland Travel Agents

Had an amazing trip planned thru KimKim and Julien as our local specialist. We had a group of 8 people and everyone had a great time, and loved the trip. The route had great diversity and stunning views. Julien was VERY responsive and we asked him a TON of questions. He did an amazing job on our 14 day trek thru the Dolomites.

The app provided worked flawlessly and was a great help. The routes were all well marked and the app provided that extra confidence that we were travelling in the correct direction at all times. The pictures at the turning points also proved helpful at times.

The rifugios were clean, comfortable and accommodating to our meal requirements. Not all rifugios offer private baths so if you require this make sure you inquire what the facilities are that are available. The flexibility in the itinerary was also helpful for a couple people in our group and for the day we had bad weather. We did have a couple of issues with our accommodations being slightly incorrect in a couple of refugios, this may have been to the fact we added 2 people very late in the planning process.

Julien organized two via ferrata's for us which included equipment and guides. Highly recommend Monte Paterno via ferrata. The second via ferrata (Les Cordes) was VERY short and not really worth it. It was a new via ferrata this year so Julien was not aware of the route and distance. All the guides were awesome.

I would highly recommend a trip to the Dolomites, they are amazing. The hiking is not easy, but very beautiful. I will be going back and will use KimKim on future adventures.

This is my family's 10 day self-guided TMB trekking. Special appreciation to Julien, the local specialist, who provided consultation and support to my trekking. I am not good at English on oral and listen, our communication was done with plenty of text chatting. He always gives professional answers in patience.

Dolomites · Italy - Jul 2 - Jul 8, 2019

Traveler: Pamela B. - Local specialist: Olivier Levasseur

We did an unguided tour of the Dolomites. In general, we felt the distances of the hikes did not match what my Garmin recorded. There was not enough time allotted meet up with our guided portion of the tour. Our luggage transfer service, Taxi Rizzo, was excellent and very complementary of Allibert Trekking. The accommodations, travel books, maps, bus/train information and phone app were good. The choice of destinations and accommodations were excellent. Tre Cime is breathtaking and all the alpine huts had spectacular views.

No one can predict the weather, but even with half the trails covered in slow, we were able to navigate with very little worry. Olivier was great to deal with, and we look forward to planning another trip some day.

We set up a custom, unique experience with KimKim. We wanted a self-guided tour to align with our dates. KimKim worked with us to find an amazing trip to help make our vision of this experience amazing.

We live in the US and Olivier corresponded with us regularly to help us the options and set up all the arrangement for us. Our whole trip in the Bernese Alps in Switzerland was amazing. Several standout experiences include taking a train from Grendlewald up to the Inn at Alpiglen, where the staff was amazingly helpful, our rooms has stunning views of the fog shrouded Alps, and we enjoyed Swiss wine. We also loved the next day, where we hiked below the north face of the Eiger up to a gorgeous 19th century hotel, the Hotel Bellevue du Alps, where we enjoyed beautiful rooms, views of the glaciers, and delicious food in elegant surroundings. Overall, the hiking, views, hotels and huts, were an amazing once in a life-time experience that we'll never forget.

Hi Oliver,
Thanks for your great feedback.
Happy to hear that you enjoyed your trip and swiss accommodations. Bernese Oberland is a perfect place in the Alps for a multi day hike with quality accommodation (this is Switzerland ;-).

Julien and Olivier from Allibert Trekking did a fantastic job in planning my itinerary for my Dolomites trek. Given that August is the high season, I thought the task of booking my trip would be almost impossible given that I booked in June. Nevertheless, within 48 hours of initial contact, I had my itinerary mapped out and all rifugios confirmed. It was almost too good to be true!

They were super responsive and possess great knowledge useful for people wanting to take a self-guided tour.... read more
