Our trip to Iceland was incredible. The places to stay were a wonderful and except for the last night way exceeded our expectations. The last night was fine it was just a smaller room than all the others we stayed at so had grown accustomed to the beautiful rooms and locations along the way. The hints of things to see and do were very helpful. The food was fabulous and enjoyed the breakfast offered at each hotel. Appreciated Caroline's suggestion to go clockwise around the island. It worked out perfectly and we saw the northern lights 6 nights. Fosshotel Nupier was the best for them and wish we could've stayed their 2 nights. Mostly wish we had more time and could've had more days to explore areas. Just gives a reason to come back. Fosshotel Siglo and Fosshotel Eastjords were my favorite hotels. Didn't get the opportunity to use the pool at Ork but so was planning on it just something came up that changed the plans. Since it was a self tour we could adjust our plans based on what happened each day. 4 of the hotels I would have like 2 nights to explore those areas more, included Siglufjdur, one more further north of Mytvan and also be able to take a whale tour, East Fjords, and Skafatfel. Highlights besides the countryside and drives with stops along the way, numerous waterfalls (breathtaking and each unique), sheep, and birds was the Diamond Beach, Petras stone museum, helping herd sheep, Vatnsnes cave tour, hiking in Dimmuborgir and Dynjandi falls. The people were friendly. The guide at the Cave people tour, Hermann was awesome as well as the guide Max at the into the glacier tour.

10 days, 9 nights in Iceland... trip of a lifetime. Caroline was so in tune with what we wanted to see and she made sure to include all the right places to view puffins, (we saw thousands), as well as magnificent scenery and all the suggestions for spectacular sights. The ease of hotel check in, car rental and all the ferry schedules and tickets were perfect. Each hotel offered a great breakfast to start our day, for the many km's we drove and walked. Grimsey Island the best for the unbelievable amount of puffins and how close we could actually get to take photos. Each different city or town we stayed in, seemed to be better than the last, each offering something different and unique. Food choices were vast, delicious and prices very comparable to Canada. This vacation by far exceeded our expectations. Thanks again Caroline,(so glad we got to meet you as well).

I can't believe how easy it was setting everything up for this trip. Actually, all I did was get airline tickets and pack, Caroline did the rest! My son chose Iceland as a place he wanted to visit and Caroline made sure that we were able to enjoy so many activities while we were there. The hotels she booked were great, as well as making sure we have a rental car waiting for us. The itinerary was easy to follow and there was even a day in there that we decided to skip the suggested activity and relax in the town we were currently in. That made it easy to be able to adjust and move on to the next activities. I certainly want to go back now and know that we would not have even thought of all these things to do in Iceland if it wasn't for Caroline setting this up. There are so many wonderful places to visit in Iceland, but to do it justice you need time. We had 17 days and it was hectic. Course, we didn't want to miss anything. Caroline certainly put a great itinerary together for us.

One of the regions I thought was exceptional was the Western Fjords, but everything was memorable. The northern regions of Akureyri and Lake Myvatn were also well catered.

We met people from all over the world and shared stories and experiences, and you always felt safe. Even leaving luggage in the car anywhere, without problems.

The western tip of the Reykjanes Peninsula (near the airport) is a must, as well as the more commonly visited places.

I booked this trip for myself and seven other women. Caroline was very helpful in developing an itinerary based on the needs of my clients. The tour guides were punctual, informative and extremely attentive. I would highly recommend kimkim and Caroline to everyone

Caroline was very responsive to our multiple requests. The hotels all met our need which included room enough for 2 adults and 2 teenagers . The costs for this trip were lower than some other travel agencies .
