Originally from Western Africa, my heart sent me to Norway, and day after day I grew fonder of the peaceful life the country has to offer within its abundance of natural and historical treasures. To experience Norway daily is, for me, a dream come true and I am so delighted to share with you my passion and knowledge of the country!
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"I really love Lofoten. It’s a magical island and I would love it so much to give travelers the opportunity to feel the special atmosphere and Northern Lights of Lofoten. If you are interested in Viking history, photography, architecture, outdoor adventure: such as hiking or rock climbing, slow travel in public transportation or electric car, or relaxing to take in the stunning nature with a beer, I will be your man."
How did you get involved in travel?
"I was born in Madagascar, I grew up in several countries in West Africa (Togo, Burkina Faso) following my parents and after few years in France, it was my time to discover the world.
After a honey moon in Norway, I decided to bring my family and my cat to Norway not far from the sea and the mountains."
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"When I was a student, I visited Praha during a weekend. I walked in every street, every minute was amazing and I discovered so many little things that were not in my guidebook. It was obvious that I couldn't keep all these secrets places for myself. It was in 1999 and I created one of the first websites that gave tips on how to visit Praha far from the main street. The website had good success, especially the nightclub sections. :)"
