How did you get involved in travel?
"My love for authentic food has led me to travel to Europe, America, Asia and Africa in search of gastronomic experiences ranging from Michelin starred restaurants to vibrant local markets.
But there was a problem. Because I didn’t speak the language well, I was afraid of going in to local restaurants and bars because I was unsure of what to order and I didn’t want to be taken advantage of.
I found myself having to find local guides to help me discover what I was looking for, and that’s what sparked the idea behind Eat Northern Spain.

"My most memorable travel experience would be Kenya. From the spectacular plains of Amboseli, to the magic beauty of Mount Kenia and the breath-taking experience of being part of the Great Migration in Masai Mara. I stayed in eco-lodges in private reserves so I had the chance to meet real Masai people working in their natural environment and to make it even better I proposed to my wife during a hot-air-balloon ride overlooking the Great Migration and the Mara river. "
