Elisa Crivellone

I am a licensed tour guide specialized in leisure trips and incentive events. I have gained a long - standing experience in planning, organization and management of tours and I also have solid experience in the trip management in both national and international contexts. I have a good flair for relating to people and a strong story -telling capacity. I used to live in many different countries: Switzerland, Italy (Milan and Rome), South Africa, France, Tenerife and one year with College scholarship in China. I am fluent in English, French, Spanish and I speak a good mandarin Chinese.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"I am specialized in itineraries in Italy and have a good knowledge of France.
My best destinations are Northern Italy, Northern Lakes, the Dolomites, the Italian Riviera (Liguria and 5 terre), Venice and the Dolomites, the Emilia region, core of fast cars and famous Italian specialties, Tuscany with its highlights but also "out of the beaten tracks" itineraries, Lazio region and Rome, Naples and the Amalfi coast. I also planned trips to southern France.
"

How did you get involved in travel?

"I travelled all my life, since I was a little girl. Travel and life experiences abroad are part of my education and training. I started to get involved in the travel sector in 2015. I used to live in Milan and the Universal Exhibition started that year. Before this, I was mainly and event planner and communication officer, but the amount of visitors which visited the city that year required a task force to organize visits, plan activities, set all transportation and transfers etc. This experience lead me to the travel business. Since then, I worked for several specialized companies to organize trips to Italy, insight exploration trips, family and business trips. I also passed the National exam to become a tour guide specialized in museums, cultural venues and local visits. I am now based in Rome, the capital of my country, a marvelous and busy city with plenty of opportunities, which I would be delighted to present with Storywalking itineraries!"

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"The trip to Zanzibar was for sure unexpected: some friends advised me to go with my family in a family-run little hotel in the south of the island, out of the beaten tracks. After 24 hours of travel with different means, including a 3 hour boat ride from Dar- el- Salam, the capital of Tanzania, we finally got to the island and a driver send by the resort took the three of us at destination. We were exhausted, no time to look around. The next morning, we found ourselves in a jungle on the sea shore, some bungalows were under construction, it was peaceful, chameleons were climbing up the branches, and we were the only 3 guests of the resort! We started a memorable week, immersed in the local culture and in hysterical and marvelous discovery adventures. "
