Emily Rich
Travel tests my limits and creates a world in which my mind can explore, learn and grow as well as discover people who also want to go and enjoy the same things.
I grew up in Iowa and Alaska, camping and skiing with my family all throughout. Though I haven't found a permanent home yet, I can say South America is on the list!
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"We specialize in trips in and around Torres del Paine National Park as well as Los Glaciares National park in Argentina."
How did you get involved in travel?
"When I was younger my parents would take us everywhere across the United States. While in college I was introduced to the wonderful world of backpacking and climbing. After graduating from college I decided to get back on the road traveling to explore the states and other countries, spending time in the outdoors of some amazing places. I am still on the move- I've lived in various places within the United States, and I've continued my international travels, including visits to Thailand and Peru. "
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"I spent three weeks learning how to Mountaineer in the Cascade Mountains in Washington state. It was my second time backpacking ever and my backpack was 68 pounds going in. "
