Travel is all about offering a personalized and true experience that taps into the relationship with man, nature, environment, and all that we must protect and preserve. I like to involve my customers in every step of the trip planning process so that they can take an active part in the itinerary creation. This process consistently results in beautiful experiences that leave both the traveler and the specialist with a satisfaction that is beyond explanation. Our focus on providing sustainable adventures that focus on engagement with local communities and local culture enables our travelers to participate in immersive, authentic experiences.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"We specialize in real cultural experiences and adventure, including eco-adventures, sustainable travel, volunteer travel, and educational travel. We offer life-changing experiences that offer travelers unique experiences that will give them knowledge about the destination. "

How did you get involved in travel?

"I have always had a passion for travel. I got involved in travel after college and got a job in the hotel industry as a guest relations assistant. All the guests would come to my desk and seek to be given some information on what they can do while on their 2 or 3-week holidays. I would find myself at ease helping them plan their adventures, and they would come back with very beautiful and exciting memories! I loved the feeling of excitement I got whenever I helped travelers plan great trips. I knew that this was something that I wanted to do full-time. I eventually moved to the travel & leisure industry and the journey has continued from there to this day. Truthfully, I enjoy what I do. Planning and organizing travel experiences for my clients is one of my favorite things to do!"

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"Sheldrick falls is a unique and beautiful waterfall in one of the reserves in Kenya - Shimba Hills National Reserve. I took a group of 15 corporate staff (30 - 40+ yrs.) and a European couple (60 + yrs.) for this excursion. Good physical fitness is key to completing this hike, due to the very steep terrain and elevation change involved. Everybody was in high spirits as we began the descent which went very well with everyone. Everybody had a good time at the base of the falls enjoying the beautiful views.

Our ascent up to the top of the falls was a unique experience because the elderly couple were the fittest travelers, beating everyone to the ascent and even coming back down to assist the 30 - 40+ yrs. party that was having a difficult time reaching the falls. Upon completing the ascent, the younger party burst into song and dance celebrating the elderly couple! Wow! It was such an amazing experience that helped everyone bond as a united team, even though the travelers came from 2 separate groups. This trip happened in 2010, and it has never left my mind! I adore those couples to this day! "

This is the 2nd time my husband and I have used kimkim for a travel excursion and they worth it! From start to finish they make sure your needs are cared for and you have many options to choose from.

For this adventure, we were celebrating our 25th anniversary and wanted to go on a safari! We were settled in a wonderful lodge at Hammerkops and everything was spectacular. On our actual anniversary date, the lodge even made us a special cake!

There are not enough words to express our thanks to kimkim. You have a customer for life!
