Excellent hotel with very good service. Swimming pool is heated.

There were several nice ostrich meandering about. One walked past me and brushed her feathers with my arm. How fortunate I was to have such a personal encounter.

It was beautiful. Zebra came up to the rail on our patio. Being able to look at the lake from our room was gorgeous.

This yurt type room was fun and felt like we were in the wilderness. There were monkeys in the trees that were fun to watch. It was beautiful. The staff were attentive and helpful. I could have spent days there.

Our room looked out over the lake. It was beautiful. There were baboons all over as well as hydrax on the lawns. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I woke up one morning with a kidney stone and there was a nurse on the property who helped me so much. It was an amazing experience.

Ciala was a beautiful place with many amenities. The staff were attentive and took good care of us.

This was so fabulous. We saw so many different animals and had the unbelievable pleasure of seeing the beginning of the Great Wildebeest Migration.

When we got to the lake we thought we would be on a boat like a pontoon or equivalent. This boat was a rowboat with a motor. It ended up being such a great experience. Made us a bit nervous at first. Highly recommend it.

I would have left this experience out. We have fed giraffes at our local zoos. They are beautiful animals and I didn’t realize there are different kinds. It was educational but again, I would have forgotten e this one.

Would gladly stay here again. It was clean, check-in was easy, and the suites were huge. There was some noise from the nearby city but the hotel offered earplugs. Also very nice to have a washing machine in the suite!

The rooms seemed slightly dated but the experience with the animals up close more than made up for it. I would gladly stay here again!

Was under construction when we were there. Our room was pretty small but we still had a great stay. I believe the new lodges will be larger.

This was such a fun way to kick off our trip. Our guide, John, was incredible and we saw many animals due to his knowledge and skill.

This ended up not as sunrise but midday with lunch. Regardless, it was amazing! The food was incredible, the staff fantastic, and the drinks were flowing. It was a really relaxing experience nestled between game drives.

Wow! I'm so glad we did this. Absolutely a highlight of the trip!

they have restaurant 24 hours and they serve hot food anytime. location was very peaceful, convinent, safe and rooms are cleaned and comfortable. Staff was amazing

very friendly service, feels like home, they wash your shoes after you come back from trekking, food was amazing, they did bon fire at our request just for us that was very kind .
