The cultural enrichment of spending time in Maji Moto Maasai Cultural Camp was one of the most special experiences. We enjoyed the activities of visiting the village, watching the sunset from the hill, having meals outdoors, sitting around the fire that we helped start (way harder than it looks!), warrior training, and building memories that will last a lifetime.

We enjoyed the beautiful location, the style of the rooms, the friendliness and warmth of the staff, and the layout of the property.

This felt like a bit of an older property - while it may not be true, the rooms felt further from the restaurant and main area, everything was spread out a bit more and unfortunately, the wifi did not reach the rooms. Additionally, it was a struggle to get wifi even in the main area. They said the monkeys had chewed up their cable cords to maybe that's just a short term issue.

An absolute favorite based solely on all the animals walking around the property. Their restaurant is also beautiful and they have the most fun rabbit habitat in the middle of the reception/restaurant area. Staff was also very friendly and helpful!

This had beautiful beach access and a great area for swimming and reclining around the pools. The meals were large buffet style and staff was incredibly supportive.

I loved staying here. First of all - the staff were so kind, friendly, and made me feel like I was at home/with family. The pools were immaculate, the beaches were a little cluttered with seaweed when I was there but still beautiful sand and shore area. I loved the option for all the restaurants on the property plus the coffee station areas. They did an amazing job with this place and I cannot wait to go back.

Loved the elephant gorge… the location of the property is incredible. True immersion. The place, the team, everything!!

Nice to be on the tend and all but felt more like a more commercial property than some of the boutique places that we were at. Still nice but not as great as elephant gorge which was the highlight property of our trip

One a piece of Paradise in the middle of a huge city. It's like having your own oasis. You will love the setting and the people and it's near the Nairobi game preserve.

An amazing facility with tent camps ( just a name as they are very nice with all the facilities you need in your room)that face the animals. Don't come out at night as you may meet one but very safe and tons of animals. Food is fabulous and staff will meet your every need

This was quite a surprise and an elegant place to stay. Waking the grounds next to you are Zebras, Water Bucks, giraffes and Hippos come into a protected area at night but fenced off. Food spectacular. The nearest park is Hells Gate reserve and t had limited animals but take the boat for an 45 minute cruise to the island and walk beside a number of animals. Worth the experience. The hotel was special

This was a huge surprise as when we arrived we thought it a very small park. Food and entertainment excellent. We found a mile square filed with 30 giraffe. Lions and cubs, and miles and miles to drive. You will love thsi area

Your tent cabin is on the Mara River and you feel like you should being on safari. Never met more friendly and accommodating staff and they made the stay special. The Mara is huge so a lot of driving to do but you are rewarded with an incredible number and kinds of animals. Don't miss the Olive

When you go on safari this is what you hope your accommodations will be like. We saw 12 different species of animals and all of them, in large quantities, visited the two water ponds right outside the lodge. Every animal species we saw cam to drink during the day. While it sits in the second largest game reserve in the country somehow the animals know it and love to come. 50 elephants, zebras, Cape buffalo and so many other animals came each night to drink and bathe. Food was great and as in every place we went in Kenya the people were incredible

It is right beside the city but no fences and animals stay at will. Our first stop and we saw 18 different species of animlas including many Rhino. Amazing start to a terrific safari time

after all we had seen this was a bust. Very few animals and very small. Not worth the time and distance compared what we had seen on our safaris

Nice concept to save some abandoned elephants but you will be as close on your game drives so not a must for us

Balloon was a great experience. Short trip but over hundreds of animals and the breakfast was to die for

It is sooooooo big you have to drive a lot, over very rough roads to see animals but this is where you will find Cheetahs and leopards

Holy smoke it was like driving into the Sahara desert the roads were so dry and deep with sand. Certainly not worth the 5 mile entrance to find a few animals. Our least favorite stop

We loved the Main House, especially the outdoor patio and the fireplace. Dennis was exceptional with service. Only thing was there was no pool or plunge area. We greatly appreciated the sundowner with the Maasai team led by Fred. That was special!

The Retreat is amazing... it would be nice if that could be open in the evening as well. Loved the afternoon tea, but for me-- it was too much Giraffe feeding to do the afternoon tea, the morning visit to the room, and then breakfast. I really liked going to the Giraffe Center because they were more expert in the giraffe's. As a suggestion, it would be beneficial to have a staffer come to afternoon tea and give more behavioral and biological details -- and answer questions. The food was excellent! Another suggestion would to be add hooks for towels or bags in the Retreat bathrooms for changing, or coming out the pool to use the restroom, etc.

No notes, no suggestions. Near perfection! Wonderful staff led by Catherine (she's amazing). Chef is wonderful-- great food, accommodating. Love the bungalows with the fireplaces. Isiah is a wonderful safari driver-- personable and knowledgeable. Only improvement would be to have the owners encourage road improvements to get from the village to the entrance! Full of pot holes and very bumpy.

5-star across the board. Only note of improvement would be for those with longer stays, like ours, to vary the menus. They repeated after 3 days. Entire staff was near perfection! Loved all of them

Very solid hotel. Clean, well cared for, good food! The restaurant staff were lovely.

Our lunch took 2 hours-- they paced the meal without asking. However, at the same time, it was the BEST butter chicken I have every had! The only other challenge was that there were steps to get to your room-- so for mobility challenged that could be an issue-- all on the same 'floor'

The food wasn't great-- except the Myna restaurant-- that was excellent. All the rest were disappointing quality.

Benji was so knowledgeable and brought all kinds of rods and lures with him. My son had THE best time! He caught 4-5 bass. We also did a wonderful boat ride around the crescent and fed the African fishing eagles. That was very cool!

We had the only female balloon captain which was awesome! Beautiful ride and experience. My elderly parents were unable to go due mobility limitations which were only determined on our arrival-- and learning how we'd have to get in the basket and land. That was quite unfortunate. And there was no refund!

Elvis was an exceptional tour guide! We learned a lot. It was great to get to buy the coffee at the end!

This was a mixed experience. The chef was accomplished and the food prepared was good. However, she was rude and arrogant to our driver -- and giving him multiple locations to go to.

Wonderful experience at St. Monica's School. Loved learning about the school and supporting all the girls in their educational journey.

Bikes were old and uncomfortable. An insane amount of dust from all the buses and vehicles. There was no separate path for bikes. Unsafe to ride so close to the buses. The guide tried to have us hike down to the gorge despite flash floods killing 5 people.

Wonderful Rooms. The only complaint was that we had to move rooms the second night, and wish we could have just been assigned one room.

We had a fantastic view and loved the pool after our day drives.

Loved this place! Tents were very well appointed, food and service were fantastic and we loved watching the animals at the watering hole.

If you're looking for a full cultural experience and are up for a bit of adventure, you must give this place a try. I wrote more about this place in my trip review. Please take a look there. It was the highlight of our trip!

We loved our awesome family tent and enjoyed hearing the hippos while we fell asleep. The food was incredible, and the staff were terrific. I highly recommend Olive Bush Camp.

Worth the quick visit. Very educational and enjoyable, with great interaction with the elephants.

Very cool experience! Definitely worth giving it a try.
