This trip was fabulous from the beginning with scheduling with Joseph who attended to every detail to the end with our emotional departure from our wonderful driver/guide, Richard. We feel we were treated like royalty wherever we went. Our biggest concerns were safety and mosquitos!! We never once felt unsafe. The attendants at the airport guided us through customs and obtaining our bags (they didn’t allow us to carry anything) and met us with our driver/guide who never left us the entire trip. He was so knowledgeable and was willing to share all he could with us. It was not just a lovely vacation but a real education on top of it. It was such a plus that we shared our love for Christ and will be forever connected. The hotels/resorts were very clean, comfortable and beautiful. The staff attended to every detail of our needs which were accommodated with courtesy and professionalism. The people spoke English and were so kind. There were mosquito nets on every bed and we never had one bite. The safaris were really exciting and so much fun. The animals were beautiful. Joseph organized a visit with a young man that we have supported through an organization for the last 24 years and have never met in person. We were truly blessed by Joseph’s making this possible. We cannot thank everyone enough for making this a smooth and wonderful experience. We are giving Kimkim’s information to everyone we know and recommending they take this trip. Also recommending they request Joseph and Richard!!

Everyone attended to every need we could have possibly had. We especially enjoyed Maureen
It was beautiful. Zebra came up to the rail on our patio. Being able to look at the lake from our room was gorgeous.
This yurt type room was fun and felt like we were in the wilderness. There were monkeys in the trees that were fun to watch. It was beautiful. The staff were attentive and helpful. I could have spent days there.
Our room looked out over the lake. It was beautiful. There were baboons all over as well as hydrax on the lawns. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I woke up one morning with a kidney stone and there was a nurse on the property who helped me so much. It was an amazing experience.
Ciala was a beautiful place with many amenities. The staff were attentive and took good care of us.

When we got to the lake we thought we would be on a boat like a pontoon or equivalent. This boat was a rowboat with a motor. It ended up being such a great experience. Made us a bit nervous at first. Highly recommend it.
I would have left this experience out. We have fed giraffes at our local zoos. They are beautiful animals and I didn’t realize there are different kinds. It was educational but again, I would have forgotten e this one.
