Gersende Rambaud

Raised in sunny Provence at the foot of Mont Ventoux, I’ve always been passionate about travel. At 20, I moved to the UK on my own, where I deepened my love for new cultures and experiences. Now back in France, I continue to explore its regions and beyond whenever I can — always eager for the next adventure. Half of my family lives on the island of Réunion, a French overseas territory in the Indian Ocean, which has also shaped my curiosity and openness to the world. A nature lover at heart, I spend my free time hiking through mountains and forests, but I also enjoy the vibrant energy of a bustling city centre — from historic or artistic neighbourhoods and iconic landmarks to museums and local cafés.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"I specialise in tailor-made trips across France and Europe — from the lively, history-filled streets of Paris to the majestic castles of the Loire Valley, my beloved Provence where I grew up, and the vibrant, sun-drenched French Riviera. I also design itineraries in other iconic regions such as Normandy, Brittany, Alsace, and the French Alps.
Whether you're dreaming of an off-the-beaten-path adventure or a relaxed city break, I’ll be delighted to bring your ideal journey to life — always adapted to your pace, interests, and preferences."

How did you get involved in travel?

"I first entered the travel industry as a receptionist in a lively central London hotel, then in a large holiday village in Provence. While in the UK, I explored various paths — working as a nanny, barista, and even as a runner and extra on film sets. Back in France, I taught English for a time, which further fuelled my interest in cultural exchange and human connection. Later, working with an American active travel company confirmed my passion for crafting meaningful and personalised travel experiences."

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"At 20, I fulfilled a dream I'd had my whole life and moved to the UK on my own, with nothing but a small suitcase as my travel companion. It was a leap into the unknown—full of improvisation and risky decisions—but it turned out to be the most formative experience of my life, both personally and professionally. I explored the country and even created my very first travel itineraries—whether for solo adventures or trips with friends—ranging from iconic city landmarks to secluded forests and remote, secret corners of the UK.
