Overall, our trip was a roaring success! The hotel breakfasts were wonderful, the beds were comfortable and having all of the tickets for ferries, trains, funiculars prebooked was really helpful. The tour team did a great job of making our travel scenic - knowing when a train or a ferry would offer us better scenery. The ferry, trains and such were clean, easy to sort out and a wonderful way to see the country. The recommendations for hikes in Stavanger (Preikestolen) and Bergen (Mt Fløyen to Mt Ulriken) were wonderful - they were highlights of our trips. We had a great guided hike with Ivar in BodØ and learned about the plants, geology, and history of the area. He helped connect us with a friend of his who rented out e-bikes and suggested a Midnight Sun bike trip up Kaiservarden which was magical. Our catamaran tour of Trollfjord was a relaxed pace and the kids loved napping on the beanbags. The midnight sun kayak was our least favorite thing in that we didn't kayak much at all, much more standing about chatting. We did get to see some cool nesting grounds on the trip.
Joanna did a great job of responding to our concerns, putting together the trip itinerary. Fenne was also great at helping us and responding quickly to questions when we were preparing to leave and in country. She provided some restaurant ideas for Stavanger and helped arrange a tour closer to our hotel to save us needing a taxi.
I would recommend using Kimkim in the future and keep in mind for future trips.

The KimKim Team was fantastic! Joanna worked tirelessly to help incorporate all the things I wanted for our trip to Norway. She adjusted timelines and routes to ensure we could do all that we wanted to while there. She was quick to respond and always so friendly! As our trip got closer, we were transferred to another agent, Meree, who was helpful and wrapped up the final details. Finally, while in Norway we had a few huge hiccups with flights and Julia was on hand and ready to assist even on Christmas Eve! She found new flights for us and interrupted her own celebrations to help us get to our destinations safely,. I highly recommend KimKim to anyone needing help with a trip!
