I do try to emphasise on slow travelling, enjoying the moment but still getting the most out of it.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"I create adventures for our guests all around Iceland. Hikes, glacier walk, ice climb, rock climb, super-jeep tours, camping, inlands.."

How did you get involved in travel?

"I've always wanted to go back packing before I let that dream come true 2009 & 2010. Went to South-east Asia and South & Central America. Had a blast. Since then I've travelled in Jordan, USA and around Europe.
Since I was little until today I've travelled all around Iceland, both the circle and on super-jeeps in the inlands. But it wasn't until after my back packing period that I really fell in love with my country! So now I am emphasising on that."

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"I did a 4 days hiking in Hornstrandir, the abandoned part of west fjord. It is so dramatic how the country has been shaped by glaciers and sea. There seemed to be only half of the mountains left, as the see took the other half as you could stand on the peak and look down the cliff, 200 meters down to the sea. And how you can just hike for days, and there is no civilisation, no service, no cars, shops.. just the arctic fox and other hikers. And birds of course."

The tour guide Begga was super nice , on time, and we always felt felt and comfortable with her.
A few things that could have been done better:
1- it would have been nice to have received a detailed itinerary before getting there (we had a 5 line itinerary before the trip).
2- more information (geography, history) about the places we were seeing/visiting
Kristin helped organize the trip and all that we decided to do, we did it.

Grimsborgir was pretty desolated so we would have preferred to be in Reyvajvik a few more nights. I understood that Grimsborgir was the best place to be doing excursions from. Unfortunately it rained all week and we did not see the northern lights which was another reason we stayed in Grimsborgir.

Dear Paula, It was very nice meeting you for a coffee at our office. I know Begga really enjoyed the time with you and she will be happy to hear you liked the tour.
Regarding the itinerary I am really sorry about that this was a bit of a misunderstanding on my behalf. You where our first Kimkim guest and we where still learning how to work together. I hope you enjoyed the late itinerary you got from Begga and that informed you about all the beautiful sights you saw.
I hope to see you...
