Don't be a tourist, be a traveler. The more I know about new destinations and new places, the more I love Vietnam- my homeland as we have great authentic culture, the most gorgeous mountainous areas with rice terrace fields, the lovely 4 seasons that change around in a year, the best beaches and bays along the country that still keep its natural beauty. I hope that I can share this love with all the travelers who plan to visit Vietnam.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"Northen Mountainous area of Vietnam, Myanmar, Chiang Mai - Thailand, Battambang - Cambodia, Luang Prabang - Laos."
How did you get involved in travel?
"I've loved traveling since I was a child, and would often join my family on trips. I chose tourism as my field of study at university. By the time working in, I found that I love this work more and more day by day. It is really the lovely second when I can know more about a new thing that is interesting on the way to consult to clients, new activities, new culture behavior....Even from some clients, I did learn a lot about their passionate to a place, a destination and they indeed inspire me a lot while doing the tailor made tours for their group.
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"2 years ago, I was in Ha Giang, Vietnam for a CSR company trip. We did very well offer to 2 remoted primary schools with pencils, notebooks and the cinema shows for kids. In the afternoon of day 2, we are noticed by the local people that there would be a big flood soon as it had been heavy rain for the last 2 days.
We have to give out the decision if we stay at the village to wait until the flood goes away or we have to leave the mountain village immediately to the town in the heavy rain. The road from the village to the town is the Monotheism way, it is small and narrow, one side is the mountain and the other side is abyss, there is one car in the road at a time. If there is another car from the opposite side, we will get stuck in the middle of the mountain and forests as there is no place to reverse back.
There are many types of risky as well when you move under the heavy forest rain, landslide, bad road conditions... After 4 hours of driving like "Fast and Furious", even in many places we go by 2 side wheels, we finally escape to the town. "

March is a fabulous month to visit Thailand. The weather is still pleasant, especially in the first half of the month, although the southern beaches will start getting some rain along the Andaman Sea. It's also the beginning of mango season, and throughout the country, the colorful fruit is piled high at roadside stands and on people's plates mixed with sticky rice. Best of all, the hot season hasn't arrived yet (which is often uncomfortably warm) so you can walk around outside without being miserable.
Relax on white sand beaches, explore tropical forests, and get away from it all on this 12-day island hopping trip. Begin in Phuket, where jagged limestone caves and deep blue lagoons meet in hidden caves. Continue to Phi Phi and Krabi to soak in the sunshine, snorkel the tropical water, and ride a zipline through the rainforest. End your trip in Loh Dalum Bay with the ultimate adventure—a full day planned by you, from a personal guide to romantic beach picnics!

Created our own cruise "excursions"
Jan 18 - Jan 29, 2020
We decided to create our own "excursions" while traveling through Asia on a cruise. Linh helped us plan activities for three of the ports we visited. We gave her our destinations and she gave us various options to pick and choose from. Our first port was in Koh Sumai, Thailand, where Mr. Sonthaya gave us a great tour of all the island highlights and brought us to a beautiful beach side restaurant to enjoy the view and some local food.
Our second stop was in Laem Chabang, the port south... read more

We enjoyed so many experiences: elephant visit, hiking through the jungle, kayaking around the floating village, cycling round Angkor Wat, butterfly farm, night markets, temple visits, Aspara dance show, all smoothly organised by our guides. It was so nice to be chauffeured from airport to hotel to the visits for the day.
Great Thailand visit Dec 2019
Dec 21 - Dec 31, 2019
We had a great Thailand trip this past December. Working with Linh and her team was relatively easy and where able to customize the experience to our needs. Overall a positive experience for my husband and I, we had private tours and our guides were very professional and helpful. There were minor issues we faced (we were asked for tickets for transportation by the drivers, which were not given to us) but where addressed by the local KimKim team. I would strongly recommend to get a local SIM... read more

Mr. Sauce was my tour guide while in Bangkok, he was extraordinary. He was very knowledgeable, kind and complacent. I loved the floating market, never seen anything like it. Miu was my tour guide while in Chiang Mai and she was awesome, my most memorable experience from Chiang Mai are the temples. Phi Phi islands is like being in fantasy island! I loved my entire trip, thank you so much for putting it together.
Wonderful Vietnam trip to celebrate our 25th Anniversary
Dec 3 - Dec 4, 2019
Miss Linh did a fabulous job! Our only trouble was not understanding that we had to take care of the Vietnam Visa ourselves. However, she ended up handling it for us and even did the fast track. I would recommend KimKim or the agency for Vietnam take care of it and include it in their fees because most Americans don't know how to do the Visa on their own. We were so worried about the Hong Kong portion of the trip that we overlooked doing the visa ourselves. Anyway that got resolved and she... read more

Ms Nit in Bangkok was great. The itinerary day were we went to the floating markets, Grand Palace and then were suppose to go to China Town for dinner was too busy. Given that it was early in the itinerary we were still jet lagged and there was no way we had energy to go to out at night. We skipped the china town food tour because we were exhausted even though it sounded great.
Ms Nook in Chiang Mai was equally great. All experiences were great. The elephant tour day could have used some... read more
