Matias Alemani
I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have always enjoyed traveling, going to new places, and meeting new people. I am also passionate about painting, photography, and the arts in general.
I love my job and I find it so interesting to listen to travelers, understand their preferences and needs, and create unique experiences for them. I am also a local, with excellent networks around the country and insights into the best places to go and things to see and do.
I aim to tailor-make a unique and unforgettable experience for every customer!
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"In terms of activities, I can tailor-make trips to suit your needs, but I particularly enjoy unique, once-in-a-lifetime experiences, adventure activities, wine tasting, culinary experiences, culture & arts, and photography tours."
How did you get involved in travel?
"I studied hotel management at the university in Buenos Aires and since, all of my work experience has been in the hospitality and tourism industry. Right before I graduated, I had the opportunity to work at Stratton Mountain Ski Resort in Vermont, USA. That experience was a milestone for me and helped me discover how much I love meeting and interacting with people from all over the world.
My curiosity to discover new places and cultures, and my love for nature, have led me to the travel industry. I love bringing people together and encouraging everybody to explore the world."
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"One of the most memorable trips I made that first come to mind was in the province of Jujuy, in northwest Argentina. A highlight was the famous Tren a las Nubes (Train to the Clouds), a tourist train that connects the Argentine northwest to southern Chile via the Andes Mountains. This route zigzags between lonely mountain roads and vast expanses of high desert plains. Along the way, I had the opportunity to stop and visit different small towns and communities. I also visited the picturesque Purmamarca, a popular village filled with adobe houses and craft markets where the iconic Cerro de Los Siete Colores (Hill of the Seven Colors) is located. "

Mar 2 - Mar 14, 2023
We planned our trip to Argentina one month prior to leaving. With that being said, Matias and the KimKim team were amazing and were able to bring our dreams to light in such a short amount of time. Matias was extremely responsive and prompt, and provided great recommendations for dining and tours. Argentina is such a beautiful country and we are so grateful for Matias ability to help facilitate and cater one of the most memorable trips of our lifetime. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I highly recommend Argentina, Matias, and the entire KimKim team!

This was our second trip with KimKim - the first was in Greece. But the service was excellent on both continents. Matias was so helpful with the planning as we arranged and re-arranged as plans and guests changed. Landed on a very active and busy holiday which was what we wanted. He also rolled with changes that came up. Juan and the Victoria Island boat trip, hike and barbecue was a definite highlight. He was very knowledgeable about the area and about fishing - which was an added... read more

We had a great trip to Argentina, which was only organised 6 weeks before.
Overall the experience was good, however there were a few small issues.
Matias was really friendly and helpful, however when planning the trip initially i felt the response time was quite slow and the initial trip planned did not coincide with the budget well which wasted a couple of weeks. This meant we had less time to plan it properly.
The majority of the activities booked were really good and enjoyable. Some were... read more

Argentina was a breathtaking country! The biodiversity was unmatched. Every new city was like being in a different world. All the activities were terrific, private transport was great, and the guides were lovely! Our favorite guide was Camila in Iguazu Falls. She had the best energy, shared mate with us and was just lovely! Our favorite activities were trekking Perito Moreno Glacier and snorkeling with sea lions in Puerto Madryn. Can’t miss. There were a couple hiccups along the way, but... read more
