I hail from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and I've had a lifelong love for exploring new destinations and making new friends along the way. My heart is truly captivated by the world of painting, photography, and all things artistic.
My job is my passion, and there's nothing quite like the thrill of connecting with fellow travelers, getting to know their likes and desires, and crafting one-of-a-kind adventures just for them. Plus, being a local means I have an extensive network throughout the country and a treasure trove of insider tips on the must-visit spots and must-do activities.
My ultimate goal? To create a tailor-made, unforgettable experience for each and every one of my customers!
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"When it comes to planning your activities, I'm here to customize your trips according to your desires. However, I have a special passion for crafting one-of-a-kind, unforgettable experiences. Whether it's heart-pounding adventure activities, the elegance of wine tasting, the joy of culinary delights, the richness of cultural and artistic explorations, or the magic of photography tours, I'm thrilled to help you create the perfect adventure tailored just for you."
How did you get involved in travel?
"I pursued hotel management at the university in beautiful Buenos Aires, and ever since then, I've been fully immersed in the world of hospitality and tourism. Just before I graduated, an incredible opportunity landed me at Stratton Mountain Ski Resort in Vermont, USA. That experience was a turning point in my life, unveiling my deep passion for connecting with people from every corner of the globe.
My insatiable curiosity for exploring new destinations and cultures, combined with my profound love for nature, has naturally guided me toward the travel industry. My greatest joy lies in uniting people and inspiring them all to embark on adventures and discover the wonders of our world."
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"One of the most cherished trips that immediately comes to mind was my adventure in the province of Jujuy, nestled in the captivating northwest of Argentina. A standout moment was experiencing the renowned "Tren a las Nubes" (Train to the Clouds), a tourist train that weaves its way through the breathtaking Andes Mountains, connecting the Argentine northwest to southern Chile. This incredible journey takes you on a mesmerizing path, snaking through isolated mountain roads and vast expanses of high desert plains. Along the way, I had the incredible opportunity to hop off and explore charming small towns and communities, each with its own unique character. And of course, there was the visit to the picturesque Purmamarca, a beloved village adorned with adobe houses and vibrant craft markets. It's here that you'll find the iconic Cerro de Los Siete Colores (Hill of the Seven Colors), a true marvel of nature's artistry."

Buenos Aires is a vibrant city, and we enjoyed our tours on bike and by car. As our bike guide, Jackson modified our route to show us a few highlights we really wanted to see, including the El Ataneo Grand Splendid bookstore. He was very knowledgable and energetic. Sonia was our tour guide for the Southern portion of Buenos Aires & she was fabulous - our favorite spots were La Boca and Recoleta cemetary. In El Calafate, the Blue Safari tour of the Perdido Glacier was spectacular - both of our guides were incrediely knowledgeable and added significantly to the overall experience. Torres de Paines was also amazing - we had fabulous weather while there and each of our excursions took us to a different part of the park. It was magical. Our hotels were fabulous - all boutique hotels with character - we took advantage of the pools in several as well as spa services. The food was also top notch. Logistics were flawless, including 2 domestic transfers and a car to get us from El Calafate to Puerto Natales in Chile. All in all a beautiful trip with many amazing memories.
Hotel Reviews
CasaSur Palermo Hotel
Buenos Aires
The neighborhood has a lot of things going on - we found good restaurants for dinner every night. The breakfast is really good - excellent pastries! Rooms are spacious, with a little balcony to sit out on. The pool was also a great way to spend a few hours after a long day of roaming the city.
Authenticity & Character
Balcony off the room, well designed layout
Location
Close to many restaurants
Staff
Very friendly - helped us with dinner options several nights.
NOI Indigo Patagonia
Puerto Natales
This hotel has a cool design & is right on the water in Puerto Natales. Our room was right on the street, so street noise was definitely higher than normal when the windows were open. There were also local stray dogs that were chasing cars the day we stayed here, which added to the noise. The highlight was the pool on the top floor of the hotel - we watched the sunset over the water from there.
Authenticity & Character
All green hotel - very cool
Location
Rooms that open to the main street can be noisy.
Staff
Very helpful staff - checked us in early and upgraded one of our rooms as our originally booked room was occupied.
Hotel Las Torres Patagonia
Torres del Paine
We had the all inclusive package at Las Torres and it was fabulous. The staff, food, and excursions were all wonderful. The rooms were spacious & had amazing views of the mountains. We all took advantage of the spa one afternoon and it was great.
Authenticity & Character
Design fit into the landscape and every detail reinforced sustainability - eg: glassware was upcycled bottles.
Location
Situated within Torres de Paine, we were able to totally unplug and see a broader area of the park without traveling 3 + hours.
Staff
Very helpful and always smiling. We had a mixup with a request about several excursions and Frederica took the time to make sure she understood what we were trying to do and accomodated us.
Hotel Eco Boutique Bidasoa
Santiago
Spent an extra night here due to a cancelled flight & were happy to do so! The rooms were comfortable & cozy and the restaurant was amazing! We had 2 meals there and absolutely loved it.
Authenticity & Character
Rooms and common areas were comfortable
Location
Easy walking distance to bicentennial park
Staff
Front desk helped us with day trips and securing an extra night in partnership with our travel agency.

Buenos Aires
We had a wonderful time with our guide Jackson. He was very accomodating and added a few stops to our tour based on our requests. (the tour we took was different than what was highlighted in the description we got when booking and on Vamooz - particularly going into Recoleta cemetary). We still had an amazing experience.
Food
No food was offered on our tour - we each had a water bottle & stopped at a convenience store for snacks.

Buenos Aires
Sonia was a fabulous guide- we had an incredible day with her exploring the city, including an added stop and tour of Recoleta at the end of our day together. Her knowledge of the city was very deep, and no question from us was off limits. Highlights for us were La Boca (including very tasty empandadas), a stop at the open market in San Telmo, where we saw several Tangos, and a guided stroll through Recoleta.
Food
Empanadas at La Boca
Guides, Drivers and Staff
Sonia was very engaging and modified our tour based on what our interests were. The driver was knowledgeable about the city & got us to our next stop quickly.
Transport
Good communication and timely pickups.
Nativo Experience - Lakes and Caverns
El Calafate
Great way to learn about early Patagonia and the people who lived there. Lots of information about the local flora & fauna as well.

The Blue Safari
El Calafate
The entire day was incredible, starting with the drive to Los Glaciares National Park. Our local guide gave us the history of the area, inlcuding how Calafate has grown in the past 20 years. The Perdido Glacier was spectacular, and we were able to see it from multiple vantage points. Highlight for us was hiking very close to the glacier and witnessing a massive iceburg calving.
Quality of Experience
All of our stops along the way and in the park highlighted a different view and aspect of the glacier.
Guides, Drivers and Staff
All were very knowledgeable.
Transport
Stops included to stretch our legs.
Self Guided Santiago
Santiago
Ubered to the Parque Metropolitano (Cerro San Cristóbal) and took the cable car up and funicular down. Fabulous views of the city .

The Vamoos app was extremely helpful to keep us on track since this was a long trip. A learning for us, and perhaps for future clients, would be to explain in detail what some of the tours entailed, since we had scheduled a private tour that included 6-8 hours in a car. Fortunately we were able to amend this with the local guide. Overall it was a great experience, and we have recommended KimKim to many of our friends, and one of them has already booked their next trip through you! Thank you. Paul & Hélène

We worked with kimkim and Matias to book our honeymoon to Argentina after work and wedding planning got too busy to tackle it ourselves. There was very limited time to plan and Matias was patient with us and accommodating to our various requests and edits, but there were also some mixups - for example, the first trip Matias planned was far more expensive than expected. We said that and worked out a different trip, which somehow came in at an even higher price point. At that point, I asked to see the price breakdown and from there was able to make decisions to get us to a budget we were more comfortable with. It was still higher than I hoped to spend, but we figured that was the price for waiting until the last minute.
Overall, the trip itself was great. Some really amazing experiences that I don't know we would've found ourselves include the tour to milongas with a professional tango instructor, the food tour of Palermo, and the wine tours in Mendoza. There is not a lot of English in Argentina and we don't speak much Spanish, so it was helpful to be paired with English speaking guides. It was also a relief to know our internal flights and hotels were taken care of, and all we had to do was show up!
This was our first time working with a travel agency and not the usual way we travel, so there were some bumps in the road, but overall we are very grateful to kimkim and Matias for making our honeymoon so memorable, and thank you Matias for sharing the best of Argentina with us! We hope for many trips back some day.

I originally planned my Argentina trip for last year, when a Google search recommended Buenos Aires for a November vacation. Another Google search directed me to kimkim as I frankly didn’t know much where to go in Argentina. The trip was planned and then…life got in the way. My kimkim advisor at the time worked with kimkim, pushing out my final payment a week or so, until I had to finally make the decision to postpone the trip. I was pleased with how easily this was done.
Fast forward several months later – I reached back out and was connected with Matias. I made some tweaks to the original itinerary, finally settling on Buenos Aires, Iguazú Falls and the Salta area. I’m so happy I went with Matias’ suggestions – he fit so much into a very short time frame. I was travelling alone and requested a mix of private and group tours to help bring down the cost when available. Matias was usually quick to respond to my comments – even when I said it was no rush! In fact, Matias even let me know he would be traveling himself a few weeks before my own trip in case I had to reach him. I have no complaints about anything – I was met at each airport, my guides and drivers were all fantastic (special shout out to my Salta guide, who had to put up with me for several days :-)) They even took care of some of my dinner and tango show reservations. It was truly a worry free vacation! I’m not sure if the app is something all kimkim vendors use or it was just Matias’ group, but it was very helpful and I referred to it often. The app was also where all flight information was posted.
I will plan on using kimkim again for future trips around the world and highly recommend working with Matias when traveling around Argentina – you won’t be disappointed!

Matías was simply amazing! From day one in the planning process to the continuing support while in country, to the ENTIRE team on the ground in Argentina! I wouldn’t, couldn’t recommend any other agency! Just over and above service for the entire experience…..
