We visited Egypt as a family of 4 this summer and had an amazing, highly personalized experience thanks to the incredible support team of Kimkim. From the moment we landed to the moment we arrived, everything was stress-free. We were in constant communication with Mohammed our travel specialist who organized everything for us ahead of time and he provided quick responses throughout. Our private, local tour guides that he arranged for us were excellent, all very hospitable, engaging, and knowledgeable Egyptologists. Highly recommend them, they were: Hend (pyramids), Mahmoud (Luxor/Aswan), Omar (Cairo). They took such good care of us that we felt like they were family! We especially enjoyed visiting the Valley of the Kings and Queens, Karnak temple, Khan el-Khalil market, The Grand Egyptian Museum, Pyramids, and relaxing on the Nile Cruise. We had one minor problem when we checked into our hotel in Hurghada as they asked for our hotel reservation confirm number which they could not locate nor were we ever given one, however it was resolved quickly after contacting Mohamed and Omar at kimkim. The rich history of Egyptian civilization is not something to be missed if you have this unique opportunity to explore in depth. Our family will forever be grateful for these amazing and unsurpassable memories thanks to Kimkim! We would definitely use them again with no hesitation!

This was a full but memorable day. Our Egyptologist guide, Hend, made the history feel rich and accessible. A highlight was the camel ride as well, and we also enjoyed stops at the Papyrus Institute and a jewelry store, where some of us bought cartouches. Lunch at 9 Pyramids was a beautiful break, with great food and stunning views.

Red Sea Resort 🏖️

Hurghada

Our stay at KaiSol Romance Resort on the Red Sea was the perfect way to unwind after touring Egypt. The resort was beautiful, the staff was warm and attentive, the food offered plenty of variety, and the crystal-clear water was ideal for swimming and snorkeling. A relaxing and memorable end to an incredible trip.

Karnak Wonders & Evening at Luxor Temple.

Luxor

Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple at night were unforgettable. Exploring Karnak’s massive columns and ancient history, then seeing Luxor Temple beautifully illuminated after dark, offered two completely different but equally impressive experiences. The horse-drawn carriage ride through Luxor added a fun local touch to a wonderful evening. We also visited a local spice shop in the afternoon that was a very welcoming experience.

Hurghada

Hurghada was the perfect complement to our time exploring Egypt’s ancient history. The crystal-clear waters of the Red Sea, beautiful beaches, and relaxed atmosphere made it easy to unwind. Whether snorkeling, enjoying the resort, or simply taking in the views, it was the ideal place to slow down and recharge before heading home.

This was a totally amazing trip. Everything was so well planned out. AK was awesome taking care of every possible little thing we could have needed. I don't think he ever slept! It was like our every need was anticipated before we even knew we needed it. The level of service was extraordinary. Everyone asks what my favorite part was and I say everything! It was honestly all magical. Our guides were amazing and so incredibly knowledgeable. Hend (hope I'm spelling that right) in Cairo was so much fun. And we loved Noha in Luxor, she was wonderful and we added a couple extra tours she recommended and so glad we did. And Walla in Aswan was also very nice and very knowledgeable. I will definitely be recommending Kimkim to anyone who is interested in touring Egypt.
