I hold a degree in Journalism but became a travel agent by passion. I am a fortunate person who has chosen two careers leading to the greatest experiences one can possibly have: New places, tastes, essences, people and their life-changing stories.
I'm originally Brazilian but have found myself on the other side of the World. My journey through Middle East & Asia started in 2012 and it is nowhere close to an end.
This region is an endless source of unforgettable experiences and we, at Experience Jordan, want to share the best with you. Our team is not only very professional, and capable of providing you the perfect trip, but also very passionate about their countries and work.
Prepare yourself for loads of fun and new discoveries. We promise you a lifetime adventure!
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"We specialize in adventure and experiential tours of the Middle East, particularly Jordan and Israel Palestine, offering hiking, biking, and experiential sightseeing tours. Our experienced guides will take you off the beaten path, to see the real highlights of the region, meeting the people, experiencing the hospitality and tasting the delights of the Middle East.
We aim to be the best inbound tour operator in the region, offering you the perfect trip, tailored to your specific requirements at affordable prices, with excellent customer service.
We know you’ll love our trips, because they are all the result of our own adventures around the region, sharing all the authentic treasures we have found and love. All the Experience Jordan team love exploring and we’re here to help you create the perfect tour for your needs, whether it’s sightseeing, hiking, cycling or family adventures. Do you want to stay with a local family, camp out under the stars in the desert, learn to cook Arabic food, explore the markets, ride a camel, engage with the people and even learn some Arabic greetings? Our international team has traveled the world, so we know what it’s like to be travelers, so we aim to give you outstanding service and include the best practices we’ve learned global into our trips.
As part of our commitment to the people of Jordan, we continue to pioneer new tours and experiences to create jobs and generate income for our local partners throughout the country, both in Amman, but also in the rural communities and Bedouin families across Jordan."
How did you get involved in travel?
"Back in 2011, I started working in an NGO which provides exchange program for university students. Through this organization, I've done my first trip abroad to [a not-so-usual first destination] India.
That experience was dramatically life-changing. After few months exploring the country, its culture & people, I was bitten by the travel bug and I went back to Brazil knowing exactly what I wanted for my life.
My next destination was Jordan and here I am since 2013 working in the travel industry, aiming to share with other travelers at least a bit of the huge and amazing experience it's been living here."
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"Besides India and Jordan. I have been to other countries in Asia and my ultimate experience was certainly in Afghanistan.
This war-torn country, normally avoided by most of travelers, has some of the most beautiful and unexplored landscapes in the World.
Hiking through the mountains of some very remote areas and dealing with the incredible hospitality of Afghan people have changed my life perspective forever. And, as weird as it sounds, I have never felt so peaceful like those days."

Spectacular trip to Jordan · Jordan - Dec 16 - Dec 21, 2019
My wife, son, and I spent five great days touring in Jordan. The sites we saw were spectacular, from the Roman ruins in Jerash, the Citadel in Amman, Mt Nebo, Karrick Castle, Petra, Wadi Rum with its massive sandstone rocks, to a mud bath and float in the Dead Sea. Spectacular sites and great memories. The hike to the Monastery in Perta was a great day! My leftover chicken from My Mom's Recipe restaurant was the perfect treat at the top!

Trip was overall very good · Jordan - Aug 15 - Aug 24, 2019
Trip was overall very good. We visited Jordan and Israel.
The driver (Mohamed) and guide (Mahmood) in Jordan were super nice, helpful, knowledgeable and made all efforts to please us. The places we visited in Jordan were amazing.
Border crossing back and forth was pretty seamless.
In the Israel side everything went well, but attention and service was a notch lower than in Jordan. Our guide and drivers were very nice, but we had a couple of delays that could have been avoided. The tour in... read more

We had a wonderful trip to Jordan Israel and Palestine. The guide and drivers were very informative and always punctual and took very good care of us. They checked us in at each hotel and tourist site and organized e.g. donkey ride through Petra for our youngest. The children especially developed a good relationship with Mahmood who entertained them as well.
The hotels were all excellent except the last hotel in Tel Aviv (Grand Beach). My request was 5 star only and this hotel was not 5 star... read more

Jordan in 7 Days - Amman, Jerash, Mt Nebo, Petra, Wadi Rum, Aqaba and the Dead Sea · Jordan - Dec 27 - Jan 5, 2019
We found dealing with Raisa very easy and she responding promptly to all our questions in the planning and lead up to this trip. The itinerary was very comprehensive and busy which suited us although with hindsight we did miss out on a few things (Guide in Jerash) and a tour of Amman which was not included. Some of the hotels were not up to a standard that we would like and in need of maintenance (faulty leaking showers) but overall we had a terrific trip.
Jordan · Jordan - Dec 25 - Jan 1, 2019
Jamileh was our guide and we loved her. She offered information and insight that we couldn’t have found in a book. Jamileh let us set the pace when walking, but made sure we saw everything we were promised.
Our driver Hassan was so nice and helpful too. We definitely could not have driven in Jordan, having a driver was a must!
The country of Jordan was beautiful, the natural landscapes were breathtaking. The ruins and sites we visited were truly “once in a lifetime “ moments.

Jordan: Amman, Petra and Wadi Rum - 4 Days · Jordan - Sep 26 - Sep 30, 2018
Petra was great and we all enjoyed that. I was disappointed with Wadi Rum and the organization/lack of information of what we were doing and its duration. For example, we were told we should leave Petra early to get to wadi rum, thinking there was a lot to do. After getting there around 11, we sat around for over an hour not knowing what was going on. We then went on our jeep/camel ride for a few hours and got back around 4 with nothing to do til dinner. Our driver told us he was picking us... read more

This is the first time I have used KimKim, and I am very happy with the booking process and the tour itself. The agent, Raisa, answered all of my questions quickly and in good details. Once we have started the tour, she kept me informed on the tour guide change. The tour itself was wonderful and my group really enjoyed our guides and our time in Jordan. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to travel to Jordan in he future.

A wonderful trip! Raisa organised it perfectly, listening to my requests well. She checked and asked questions and coped well with my questions and changes.
Mustafa Orabi, the driver. Driver is the incorrect title. Carer would be more accurate! Mustafa is an amazing, caring person, who made sure that everything was perfect every day. Nothing was too much trouble. I just sat back and relaxed for nine days. Add to this his great knowledge of each area, north to south, we visited and his... read more

Raisa did an amazing job planning our trip for us! We were driven around the country in cool comfort by Ahmad who provided interesting cultural and historical tidbits along the way. He also gave us some great restaurant recommendations for when we got back into Amman. Mohammad, our guide in Petra, was extremely knowledgable and funny. Petra was amazing to experience for the history and beauty of the place. The Dead Sea at the Kempinski resort was a highlight. Floating in the water is such a... read more

The trip was very well organized. The whole process of communication with Raisa and payment process before the trip was very easy.
