Sawasdee Ka! I'm Sandi, a Travel Consultant with nearly nine years of experience in the tourism industry. Originally from Myanmar, I began my career there and now call Thailand my second home. What I love most about Thailand is its delicious food and warm, welcoming people. I specialize in crafting tailor-made travel experiences that inspire and delight. With my passion for travel and deep industry knowledge, I’m dedicated to creating unforgettable memories and delivering exceptional customer service. Let’s make your dream getaway a reality!

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"I create customized tours that match what clients want, using my knowledge to suggest the best spots. For example, I recommend places perfect for nature lovers, quiet areas to avoid crowds, relaxing beach days, or must-visit spots for families. In Thailand, nature and culture fans will love the Northern areas like Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Pai, and Mae Hong Son. For beach and island lovers, Thailand has many options. My favorites are the East Coast islands like Koh Samet, Koh Chang, Koh Mak, and Koh Kood, or the less crowded Koh Lipe in the Andaman Sea. Koh Lipe is close to Langkawi, making it great for a combined trip with Malaysia. "

How did you get involved in travel?

"My passion for travel started young, sparked by a fascination with languages and a dream to become a tour guide. I loved the idea of exploring new places and connecting with people from all over the world. To turn this passion into reality, I chose to study at the University of Foreign Languages after passing my matriculation exam. There, I specialized in German, honing my skills to communicate across cultures.
In my third year of university, I took a tour guide exam to become a licensed tour guide after graduation. However, due to family challenges, I couldn’t pursue it. Instead, after graduating in 2016, I started working as a Travel Consultant. It was a great choice because I could combine my love for travel, meeting new people and learning different culture into a rewarding job. Through this career, I gained experience not only as a Travel Consultant but also as a tour leader and guide. Looking back, it was the best decision I ever made.

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"After living in Thailand for six months, I took a spontaneous vacation to Cha-Am, a beach town in Phetchaburi popular with locals. The trip wasn’t planned. On the morning of a three-day holiday weekend, around 8:30 AM, I decided to travel. I went to Ekkamai bus station, bought a ticket to Cha-Am, and caught a 10 AM bus. The ride took about four hours due to heavy holiday traffic, though it usually takes two and a half hours. In Cha-Am, I saw many local families enjoying day trips and relaxing by the beach. The seafood was affordable and delicious.
For my return to Bangkok, I chose a 3rd-class train for a local experience. The early morning train, starting from Yala in southern Thailand, was packed with locals who greeted me with warm smiles, even though I was the only one not speaking Thai. Food vendors on the train sold local treats like mango and sticky rice, which I tried and loved. The train arrived in Bangkok around 11 AM. My first train ride in Thailand was so much fun, and meeting local people while trying their food was a wonderful way to learn about the country’s true culture.
