Sigurður did a fantastic job in planning our 2-week trip! After communicating with him via kimkim site, he knew exactly what we wanted, including activities and accommodations. He designed a perfect itinerary for us. We loved all the accommodations (I am very picky with accommodations ). He nailed them to perfection even though we started planning our trip only 3 months prior. He was also easy to access during the trip when we needed his expertise, so it was a big plus for us. When Sigurður wasn't available on the phone, his colleague, Michele kindly and promptly assisted us. Furthermore, Sigurður contacted us one night around 11:00 pm telling us to go outside to see the northern lights. We were already in bed, but we got dressed and went outside, then we saw beautiful northern lights! He really went out of his way to make our trip extraordinarily special!! We couldn't thank him enough. Thanks to him, my daughter, a photographer, could see the northern lights on her 21st birthday and captured the beautiful image with her camera. Thank you, Sigurður! You are the best!!!

Sigurður put together a great itinerary for our 2 week road trip through Iceland. I am a professional photographer, so he recommended many great locations for epic photos and some that were off the beaten path like the Westfjords. He also recommended several great tours like snorkeling the Silfra Fissure and the Katla cave hike. Sigurður was also great about communication before, during and after our trip. We were very pleased with the entire experience!

Sigurdur planned a spectacular Icelandic adventure for my young family. He was very responsive to every question I had during the entire process. Each day was planned perfectly. His hotel selections were exactly what I had asked for. All excursions booked were wonderful and ran smoothly. I could not have asked for more of this trip. Thanks Sigurdur and Kimkim!!

Hotel is under renovation. With that said our room was updated and very nice. Blackout curtains worked great. While their pool looked very dated it was very nice to take a dip at the end of the day. Great location, right across the street from a commercial building with wonderful food options.

Amazing location and very spacious rooms. Bar next door which was loud into the night. Shower didn’t work and we had already unpacked so we just dealt with it. Location and spaciousness outweighed any issues.
