The whole trip was phenomenal. Alicia helped create an amazing trip! Iceland was beautiful and Alicia created an itinerary that let us see all the locations we asked for in addition to others we didn't know to ask to see. It was tailored to our interest and we had a fantastic time

Eric did an outstanding job! He was responsive and easy to communicate with. All of the accommodations and the excursions went smoothly. The Magma Hotel spoiled us early on and our first dinner of the trip at Rauda Husid was one of the best of the trip. Another favorite was Birki in Hofn. The Katla Ice Cave tour and then the Glacier hike were outstanding as was Thingvellir. An optional hike that I thought was spectacular was Mulagljufur canyon although we would classify it as moderate rather than easy. There were just too many spectacular sights to list. I’m sure we could have saved some money by trying to plan the trip ourselves but using KimKim was well worth it. It was very relaxing and truly a trip of a lifetime!

Very different from the other 2 lagoons we went to. The steam and blue water made it a bit interesting. Staff person at the front desk was a little rude.

This one had a little bit more of a party atmosphere and was more crowded but still fun. It was interesting to be able to jump into the lake then back into the warm water.

Hannah did a wonderful job of planning our 10 day trip around Iceland. We loved it! It was just about perfect, and Iceland is an extraordinary country. The Perlan museum is a great place to start. Then we headed out to do the golden circle (even though the weather was quite something!). We ended up seeing north, south, and southeast Iceland, plus a whale watch where we saw multiple whales. It was truly a memorable trip!

Hanna provided a wonderful itinerary and all of our car, plane and hotel reservations went smoothly. Hanna was very responsive to all of our questions. The scenery and walks were both spectacular and unusual. Her suggestions for places to eat were excellent. We loved the Perlman museum and I would suggest that she make sure to include the Perlan when in Reykjavik. Highly recommend Hanna and KimKim.

We had an excellent, well oiled, smooth trip thanks to Eric and Offbeat. They set up all our hotel reservations, making sure breakfast included everywhere. We did most of the trip on our own, but the things he/they set up were great and all lived up to expectations. (horseback riding, whale watching. lagoon trip) Their daily plan was very helpful, particularly for the map, which really helped with day-to-day plans. One thing I would suggest is to add a separate map that includes all the stops-including the optionals. (i.e.-2 maps, one with all suggested and another with suggested + optional). What would be REALLY cool is to have an interactive map where one could add or delete stops of any kind. It was helpful that they reached out with warnings about some potential road issues. And they got back to us quickly when we corresponded on their urgent email. They added just the right amount of handholding we needed and their suggestions took into consideration most of our interests.

Iceland has always been a dream destination for me, and when I heard there was an eclipse passing over the island I knew it was time to go!

We started trip planning very late so we were very grateful for Preeti’s help. We told her what we wanted to see and do while there and she made it all possible. Because of the coming eclipse a lot of places were booked and we never would have found the hotels and tours that we wanted without Preeti’s connections and expertise.

She laid out each day with lots of options for things to do and see; each tailored to our desires and we were never disappointed. Iceland is a truly magical place and Preeti helped us see as much as we could in the 10 day window that we were there.

The eclipse was obscured by clouds except of one brief moment, but we were never in the least bit sorry that we came. The weather is always a gamble but our lovely trip to this beautiful island could not be diminished by that.

We saw many sites that no doubt thousands have seen before but each one seemed to be so pristine and new as if they were newly discovered just days before.

I know it’s only a matter of time before we return to explore more of the otherworldly realm that is Iceland.

Luka put together a very fun and interesting trip for us. The suggested sights, descriptions, and driving directions were all good and well-planned for full--but not too full--days of driving, sightseeing, and exploring. And the tours that Luka booked for us--lava tunnel, ice cave, glacier walk, lagoon kayaking--were once-in-a-lifetime experiences that we will always remember.

I will not recommend this site for Iceland. Not only is this very highly expensive, the service is horrendous. There is no follow up on Lisbet our tour specialist on how we are doing. From the airport, the keys are handed to you and there you go. You cannot get hold of them using your USA phone. The rental car was part of the payment but hidden fees not explained are blindsided to you such as a Tax on using their road. Laughable. I got billed an additional 315 dollars in addition to the rental, parking, toll fees etc. All not explained to you. Hotels booked looked like “The Bates Motel” movie. Food is not only overpriced, yes super overpriced but you are out of choices because you are hungry. Burger for 35 dollars no Fries or drinks included. Do not even attempt to go for Steaks or Fish. It sad a country like Iceland is truly wonderful BUT not for the prices of food, tour etc. Infrastructure, back in the 40’s. Single Highway road, Gravel Road with plenty of Pot holes. No Lights on the road and Hotels or should I say Motels have no signs or proper directions to get too. Please do not get lost or your next turnabout could be miles away. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE…. For Glaciers, Argentina is way cheaper and nicer, Perito Moreno For Waterfalls too. Iguazu is much fun and nicer. Most sites are kind of disappointing. Yellowstone is much nicer than Geysir in Iceland. Bottom line Iceland is super expensive, not worth the sites.

Fantastic!! Eric was so professional, knowledgeable and such attention to detail, he put together the perfect vacation plan for us. This was the first time we used a service like this and we would highly recommend it!! After some initial interviewing of what was important to us followed up with phone calls a sample itinerary and final itinerary. K Èric then took care of ALL of our bookings, car rental, hotels and excursions. He then send us a detailed day by day itinerary of any spots we would like to view on our own for each specific day along with all our confirmations. Eric was again so professional with adjustments we wanted to make before the trip after the itinerary was booked. He was a fabulous source for all our questions pre trip and even available for post trip questions when we got an unexpected bill from our last hotel his team handled it on their end. He even reached out to us as we were traveling to let us know of a road work we would experience within a few days and all the links to monitor its scheduled times it would let cars pass. For a traveling Iceland “ on our own” we never felt alone. We knew they were just a call away.
Would highly recommend Eric of Offbeat Adventure!!!
Also, we LOVED Iceland being one with all the amazing nature we left feeling renewed!
