Hannah did a wonderful job of planning our 10 day trip around Iceland. We loved it! It was just about perfect, and Iceland is an extraordinary country. The Perlan museum is a great place to start. Then we headed out to do the golden circle (even though the weather was quite something!). We ended up seeing north, south, and southeast Iceland, plus a whale watch where we saw multiple whales. It was truly a memorable trip!

Hanna provided a wonderful agenda and all of our car and hotel reservations went smoothly. Hanna was very responsive to all of our questions. The scenery and walks were both spectacular and unusual. Her suggestions for places to eat were excellent. We loved the Perlman museum and I would suggest that she recommend including the Perlan when in Reykjavik.

Gorgeous country and easy to follow itinerary

Hannah planned an amazing trip for our family to Iceland in March- the driving itinerary gave us lots of flexibility to explore and she listened to our feedback to plan the perfect trip. Our kids loved Th ice cave tour and secret lagoon. We will definitely use KimKim again- it took all the stress out of travel planning.

Hanna was the best. Every time we had a good moment we’d stop and laugh and say Hanna did good 😂. Will be planning an itinerary for every trip from now on, everything felt like a surprise which allowed for no expectations from over planning and looking at “perfect” travel photos

Overall, we had the absolute most magical trip to Iceland. Hanna helped to book all the necessary restaurant reservations and they were all fabulous! The snorkeling at the Silfra fissure was a must. We also visited Fridheimar Tomato Farm and the dinner was fantastic - as a plus it was walking distance from our hotel (Blue Hotel Fagrilundur). Both Seljalandsfoss (where you can walk behind the falls - just do it!) & Skogafoss (forest waterfall) were some of our favorites. Reynisfjara beach (black sand) was magnificent - it wasn't hard to imagine the scenes from Game of Thrones being filmed there. The Katla ice cave tour was super fun as well - you'll hike the Myrdalsjokull glacier, then visit the amazing blue and black ice cave of the Kötlujökull glacier on Mt. Katla. If we had to pick our favorite canyon it would be Fjadrargljufur canyon - just stunning. Another must see spot was Jokulsarlon & Diamond Beach where you could see the very blue chunks of glacier floating and the diamond beach appearance - we also saw some seals during our stop. Vestrahorn & the Viking Village also offered some unique and stunning views of the mountains and the beautiful water. The Hverir geothermal area was super cool (all be it a bit overwhelming with the sulfur content in the air). Hotel Laxa was one of our favorite spots for lodging and we lucky enogh to have a spectacular showing of the Northern Lights while there. Our whale watching in Husavik was canceled due to weather but luckily we were able to re-book for Árskógssandur and we couldn't have asked for a better outing - the gear they provide was very warm and we were able to see lots of whale activity. The Forest Lagoon was one of our groups favorite stops for relaxation (better than Blue Lagoon as it wasn't near as crowded and the water is clear with no silica - wish we had a bit more time to explore Akureyri and maybe stay over a night. Our last nights in Reykjavik were fun exploring the city, shopping and eating (get the hot dog at Baejarins Beztu Pylsur). Dinner at Fiskfelagid Fish company was so delicious as well.

Overall, I offer the following insights: 1. Buy waterPROOF gear (jacket and pants and an extra poncho if you really hate being wet) - not water resistant. 2. Bring layers- you will ABSOLUTELY need them no matter when you visit. 3. Comfortable waterproof hiking shoes or boots are a must. 3. The food was so much BETTER than we expected, although bringing snacks for the drive was essential especially if you wanted to limited your stops during the day.

Also, Hanna and her colleagues were super helpful and timely in responding to last minute requests during the trip. Hihgly recommend them and highly recommend visiting Iceland.

From the first moment working with KimKim to a few days after the trip, and everything in between, was a great experience.The specialist that we worked with, Hanna, was outstanding. She was a great listener, didn't mind the tweaks we suggested, and even contacted us during the trip to say that she heard that our whale watching trip had been cancelled (not KimKim's fault) and that she was already working on the refund. Iceland was not originally on our "bucket list" but should have been. It is a beautiful country - landscapes we have never seen before. The coastline was stark and waveless, while the volcanic grassland was sparsely dotted with colorful farmhouses and steam vents. So beautiful and so different! From the rental car Hanna helped arrange, to the hotels, to the daily schedule - all were spot on! Thank you KimKim and Hanna for a wonderful trip! I will make sure that anyone I know who has a travel need that KimKim can assist with, I will strongly recommend you. Here's to working with you again!
