I am originally from Germany and have a Master degree in International Business. I first came to Iceland for an internship in 2007 and immediately felt home on this small island in the North Atlantic.

I work for Iceland Unlimited since 2012 and simply love to prepare unforgettable and unique trips for my clients. I traveled already all over the country and my favorite region in Iceland is Snaefellsnes.

I also have a good knowledge about Greenland. It is very popular among our guests to add some extra days in order to explore Greenland as well.

"I have very detailed knowledge about all areas in Iceland. I organized already numberless customized tours all around Iceland.

I love to travel in Iceland and I went already on many different day tours. I can give you more details about almost each single activity you can do in Iceland. Here are my personal top 5 day tours in Iceland:

How did you get involved in travel?

"When I permanently moved to Iceland in 2012, I started to work for Iceland Unlimited travel service. For me it is a privilege to sell what I love. "

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"As a former whale watching guide I love to go on whale watching tours all around the country. I will never forget my first orca watching tour in Grundarfjörður in the West of Iceland. When we arrived in town, we saw the orcas already from the harbor and I was almost freaking out. The boat only went for 200 meters and then we spend a full hour surrounded my approximately 30 to 50 orcas. It was sometimes difficult to decide on which side of the boat to go since the whales were all around."

We loved our trip to the Arctic Circle. Enjoyed the Nature Baths. Our trip was well planned and we even had time to change a few things along the way. Great job Christina.

This whole trip was wonderful! Cristina was very knowledgeable and open. I requested that our trip to be manageable for my son who is 6 years old and my in laws who are in there 60s. It turned out great! We really liked our driver who brought us to the Blue Lagoon and afterwards to our hotel. He was helpful and polite. We especially liked our guide from the 4x4 tour, Ruben. He was really nice and accommodating. I could not remember the names of our guides from the Mountaineers of Iceland... Read more

The hotels we stayed at were very nice and comfortable. All the staff were great. We loved our stay at the Fosshotel and Hotel Ranga( where we saw the Northern lights!) We liked Hotel Hilda too. Its was a quaint hotel near thr harbor. Overall the trip was a once in a lifetime experience. Highly recommended!
Sidenote: We went on a Game of Thrones tour and was really entertained by the guide. He was fabulous! Loved the inside jokes and his passion for the show. I wish I knew his real name. I just remember his facebook name: Swordbiter. I made my whole family join the tour ( only my husband and I saw the show) but they still enjoyed the tour.
