What places and activities do you specialize in?

"We focus on Indochina including Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia. I live in Hanoi, Vietnam, so Vietnam is our most popular destination, especially in the mountainous regions such as the Northwest (Ha Giang, Ba Be, Bao Lac, Thac Ba), and the East (Mai Chau, Mu Cang Chai, Sapa, Dien Bien Phu). Our main activities in Vietnam are trekking, hiking, walking, biking, boating, connecting with local people, kayaking, climbing, and cooking classes.

In addition to Vietnam, we also offer trips to Cambodia, Laos. "

How did you get involved in travel?

"I chose to study tourism at university because I love to discover new lands, meet new people, and share new experiences with friends. Since graduating, I have worked in the travel industry as a tour operator, sales executive, and sales manager till now. "

"I planned a family trip last June 2017 to Krabi island - Thailand with my 2 daughters; one is 5 years old, and the other is 2 years old. We booked a Phiphi island excursion to enjoy the beach. Unluckily, we experienced rough sea and winds within 30 minutes on the sea. The boat reared up and down continuously while the children got sick and cried. Finally, the rain stopped after nearly 1 hour and everything is fine. We considered this a real adventure trip for our children. "

Mr. Quyet Dang was our guide and was a wealth of knowledge about the culture and history of Vietnam. He and our driver took us to many fun and interesting events and places. We left feeling like we had seen some special places and had genuine experiences that we would not have been able to find without him, and they also set it up so it was very convenient and pretty frictionless. We left feeling like we had seen some special places and had genuine experiences that we would not have been able to find without him, and they also set it up so it was very convenient and pretty frictionless. They arranged beautiful lodgings, were very informative about what to expect, were quick and easy to communicate with, and then got us everywhere we needed to go, including transport to and from the airport.
This trip was amazing, gave us lifelong memories, and I highly recommend the team and Mr. Dang in particular!

What an amazing adventure we had in Vietnam. Huyen planned and organised a truly memorable family holiday. We learnt so much about Vietnam's culture and history. What an amazing adventure we had in Vietnam. Huyen planned and organised a truly memorable family holiday. We learnt so much about Vietnam's culture and history. Our tour took us from the north to the south over 16 days. We did a wonderful cruise and kayaking in Halong bay , overnight train which was so fun, rode bikes through local villages , climbed Laying Dragon mountain, span in the fishing coconut boats, made silk lanterns and did a fantastic night food tour on scooters through the streets of Saigon plus lots of different boat trips and so much more!!!!!
The entire trip was superbly organised by Huyen then we were handed over to Doris who could be contacted once in Vietnam , she always replied promptly if needed. We had very knowledgeable guides and safe drivers in each area, Quyet in the north, Mr An in the central region ( Mr An even organised a birthday cake for me) and Richard in Saigon. We would not have been able to achieved so many sights without them. Every time we left an attraction our driver would meet us with an air conditioned van and cold bottles of water.
We also added 3 extra days at a beach resort so we could have some chilled time , this was lovely especially trying out lots of massages at the spa.
A totally wonderful experience from booking to home, we would definitely be booking again with Kimkim and would not hesitate to recommend to our friends and family.

Fabulous trip. Staff were all really fun and attentive. Food really good although the lunch as we came back into harbour not so good but we had not long had a big breakfast on board so didn’t matter. What a fabulous way to travel with my family, Hanoi to Hue. Our guide took us to the carriage and the next guide met us as we got off. Really clean cabin with snacks and drinks. Very comfy little beds with pillow and duvet. Clean toilet and sink for teeth brushing. Guard knocked on our door before arriving in station to make sure we were aware we needed to get off at the right place.

Great location for exploring. Very friendly. Rooms a bit on the smaller size but we were in the heart of the city and they had everything that we needed in the room. Had a great small brewery bar and Mexican near by and hotel opposite had a wonderful rooftop bar for cocktails in the evening.

Gorgeous hotel on the beach. Felt like heaven after backpacking. Food at the beach restaurant was wonderful. Breakfast had a massive selection of foods on offer. Spa was wonderful, treated myself to daily treatments as very good value.

Fabulous evening food tour on scooters . Wonderful food and drinks Riding on the back on the scooters through Saigon was really fun, we were all grinning firm ear to ear. Felt very safe. Make sure you go with an empty tummy as a lot of yummy food to be had on the tour.

Tran was very responsive with all our requests . We were met at the airport as soon as we landed . She planned all activities based on our interests . We were pleased with her excellent service . She kept us informed all through the trip, and kept in constant contact with local guides to make sure everything goes as planned . Tran even made an effort to send us a second driver to pick 2 of us up ( we traveled as a group of 4) from the airport the next day due to visa issues . She was with us all the way via phone or chat so we did not feel deserted.
Tour guide in Ho Chi ming city was good and funny , he even shared his own family stories with us . The trip to Mekong delta was interesting, we were served a very local lunch !
The guide in Hanoi was just so so , he wasn’t too knowledgeable about Vietnam , we have to prompt him to get basic information, like population, life style of locals etc. his English was not well understood , but he tried his best though.
The hotels chosen were very nice and centrally located . We stayed at the Myst Dong Khoi at HCM , it is older style , bathroom amenities not quite convenient. Peridot grand hotel in Hanoi is quite upscale and clean , excellent amenities .
Also close to town .
Overall the trip was great and I would recommend Kim Kim .
Overall , we were impressed about the trio and thought our money was well spent .

Everything was perfectly arranged at Vietnam from our guides and local travel, right down to our pretty stringent dietary needs. Nhung also checked in on us periodically throughout the vacation which was so thoughtful and nice of her to do.

Our local guides - Mr. Loan, Mr. An and Mr. Phong were all phenomenal. Knowledgeable, friendly, caring and professional. We loved learning about the history and culture of the Vietnamese people through our guides. They also made our trip memorable by providing the right mix of touristy and off the beaten path experiences which included hiking and biking through villages, meeting people, eating local food etc. Vietnam has such a rich culture and heritage.
