Located near the border with Chile, the Mendoza region produces the country's premier varietals, including Argentina's flagship: Malbec. Begin your adventure in the European-inspired capital of Buenos Aires and tour the city. Then, head off to Mendoza to enjoy vineyard tours and wine tastings as well as a kayaking excursion.

Buenos Aires & Iguazú Falls - 5 Days
This trip takes you through one of Argentina's most beautiful landscapes, Iguazú Falls. You'll start your tour in Argentina's cosmopolitan capital city of Buenos Aires, where you'll have a chance to explore the city's vibrant streets. Next, head north to Iguazú Falls, located on the borders of Brazil and Paraguay. Spend some quality time admiring the beauty and power of the falls before returning to Buenos Aires.

Experience Buenos Aires - 5 Days
The capital of Argentina is a Latin American/European hybrid like no other city on this earth. Buenos Aires' rich culture is exemplified in its neoclassical and baroque architecture, the cobbled streets of its old neighborhoods, and the visceral passion of the city's Porteño soccer fans. Get the best of this concrete jungle on a 5-day tour which explores the city and indulges in its rising food scene, not to mention allows time for tango dancing and horseback riding with real gaucho cowboys.

Argentina's Salta & Jujuy Province – 5 Days
Discover why Salta is called 'La Linda' (the beautiful) on this 5-day tour of northwest Argentina. After arriving in Buenos Aires, you'll fly here and explore one of the best preserved colonial cities in South America. Then hit the road with an experienced guide and visit the giant salt flats and Humahuaca Gorge, as well as traditional Andean towns known for pre-Colombian history in the Jujuy Province.

Argentina's Salta & Calchaquí Valley - 5 Days
This 5-day itinerary explores a special area of northwest Argentina starting in Salta—one of the most beautiful colonial cities in South America (circa 16th century). From here, you’ll enjoy a scenic road-trip to the towns of Cachi and Cafayate, admiring colorful gorges, vineyards, and mountain villages with an experienced guide. Return to Salta for one more night to soak in the local culture before heading home.

5 Days in Argentina - 5 Unique Itinerary Ideas
With five days in Argentina, you can focus on a single region or visit two: thanks to the frequency of domestic flights, you can start and end your trip in Buenos Aires and also spend a few days in wine country or a national park. Explore the famed wine region of Mendoza, road-trip around the colorful northwest, see the spectacular waterfalls at Iguazú, view whales and penguins in the wild, and enjoy wine and tango in the capital city with the options below.

It was out first time in South America and we were not sure what to expect. It was great. Kimkim came up with a very good plan and the execution was flawless. Hotels were all excellent except one, guides were great, every pick up on time and communication through the Vamoos was good.
We thought Buenos Aires would be the high light, but Mendoza, Salta and Iguazu Falls were all better. Scenery was fantastic, wine was great and cheap, and the people were so friendly. Our one disappointment was the steak - sorry but Texas steak is better.
