The visit to the Maya ruin was spectacular and the guide that we had, unfortunately I don't remember his name, was so knowledgeable. He really made that tour such a great experience.

Just one thing about that particular day .... At 8: 00 AM we were expecting to get picked up. When he did arrive at approximately 8:40 we realized there were several of the people on the tour and that's why he was delayed. It would have been nice to know there was going to be a wait time.

we had a great trip to Guatemala and Belize. What two lovely countries with som much culture. Definitely worth a trip. Antigua (with the various day tours), Tikal and also Xunantunich and Caye Caulker in Belize. The local travel agents, did a fantastic job, were always available and responded to our needs and requests. The local travel agents, did a fantastic job, were always available and responded to our needs and requests. When we didnt like a hotel (as it just didnt look as advertised) they found an alternative..

If there is one thing i would wish for it is that there were better hotels - which were never offered to us (we had originally said we prefer 4 star but ended up largely with what i would call mid to lower end 3 star. We did on our own when there see better hotels and would have loved to book them (some were the same price eg., in caye caulker) or at least have the option.
